You won't see it because Ward wants none of Bute.

If I was Ward I wouldn't fight Bute right away. He should have to beat Froch or Kessler first.

Bute is supposed to be a top fighter and a genuine threat to Ward, however, if Ward beats him comfortably then all anyone will say is "Bute was just hype, who had he beaten apart from an old Glenn Johnson??". Therefore I say beat one of those guys then we can fight.

You honestly believe Andre Ward is afraid to fight Bute?

    Here's a reality check.

Andre Ward has not lost since he was 12 years old. 15 years. He's unbeaten as a professional. Lucian Bute has fought practically no one of note. Tell me what Ward has to be scared of.

Froch will never improve as a fighter because he's delusional and he believe his own hype.

You're right because Ward won't accept to fight him, not even in Oakland. :D

You are right. Ward is not afraid, he is unbeaten, he fought better competition. How the f**k did he refuse to fight Bute then?

What Bute lacks in his resume is the same as what lacks in Ward's one: a slick boxer. Kessler was not slick the night he fought Ward, for whatever reasons. Ward has never beaten a slick boxer.

Bute hasn't faced a top 3. Apart that, to say he fought no one of note shows your ignorance.

As I said above, the fight will happen late next year or early 2013.

If Ward is so great , as you say it is , why don't he fight Bute , who fought "no one of note"? He is chasing Kessler for a rematch instead.

You don't know what he's doing. He could negotiating with anyone, he might not be negotiating at all. Maybe he wants a few months rest. If he came out and said 'I want Bute', straight away that puts Bute in the drivers seat in terms of negotiations. Bute's team can always say "You're the one that's coming to us, so here's our demands", etc. Ward is smarter than that. That fight will happen in the not to distant future, believe me.

Tell me why Ward should be afraid of fighting Bute.
