and you have a biased ref in there too. Dirrell is winning easily on my card but I know he will get screwed b the judges. Froch should have had points taken by now.

Froch did try to fight dirty. Judges need to watch him for future fights. He has a lot of guts and will, but he tried to fight too dirty tonight. I say tried.. because nothing really happened that was very dirty, but it was obvious that he tried. I had the fight 6-6 btw. But as for dirty.. yes, he did try.
If hardcore fans think that the way Andre Dirrell approached the bout (in the first 10 rounds anyway) will increase the audience for boxing, they need to get their heads checked. Froch was "dirty" at times, but at least he attempted to turn what was becoming a dance-off into a fight! As a casual viewer I was cheering him on. That is the attitude that the judges should be rewarding, to me, if they want to have an entertaining sport. Trying to avoid being hit is one thing, but it shouldn't take a back seat to trying to knock the opponent out - in my totally uninformed opinion.
I would have deducted a point from Dirrell a lot earlier. He ran, fell, held in every round. I can't really blame Froch for dirty tactics. In all honesty, what is he supposed to do when he is held every time with Dirrell leaning in? The fight was even, with Andre being more accurate, but Froch being the aggressor, but with Dirrell running and holding all night, and point rightfully taken away, Froch gets the narrow decision. This is a fair outcome. Andre did not deserve to be a champion tonight.
Yes but session9 mate froch should have tried to adjust to it and try hit the challenger too which he hardly did, but even with all the dancing running hugging etc dirrelle got many clean shots in
Dirrell ran for most of the fight..hardly threw any punches then hugged at will whenever he was hit. Thats what made it a **** + dirty fight.
I noticed the punches. It seemed that they produced negligible progress upon the ultimate goal of knocking out Froch (except for the last couple of rounds when he did make Froch move backwards and defend a bit). Froch's meagre total connected output, however, was causing Dirrell to cling on to him as if they were dancing to the slow song at the end of a school disco almost every time he caught him. Now Froch may not have hurt Dirrell at all for all I know. However, given Andre's reactions every time, it certainly looked like Carl's attacks had more of a negative effect upon Dirrell than vice-versa. But as I said, I am uninformed and a casual viewer of boxing matches, not a hardcore fanatic with years of knowledge. (edit: that may have seemed sarcastic in tone, but I didn't mean it to be.)
