Froch is facing the weakest chin he has faced since Taylor

Magee will give a hell of a fight to Froch. I would put real money on Magee if they ever face each other and Magee is too much of an underdog. I see this fight as a 55/45 for Froch.
Same with Bika. I wouldn't blink when putting my money on him as I see him superior to Carl.

 

The first thing I took from this thread was how well you were responding to the bait Orbete.It was a fine example of keeping a level head with measured and balanced posting and a fine example of reasoned debating.

Carl beat him in 2006.Stopped him in the 11th if I remember right.

 

Froch knocked Magee unconscious with a savage uppercut in the 11th round of their fight in 2006 which left Magee needing oxygen to recover.

 

Yeah Magee is a good fighter, but doesnt carry the pop of Froch.

 

Some of you are right and make sense. While Bute-s an unproven bum, Froch has all the qualities in the world to knock his ass out. I can not name 1 feature that Froch aint better than Bute at. Basically, Bute goes there as a masochist, perhaps he enjoys pain. Wonder if he'll get to the 10th round. Maybe if Froch is nice enough not to embarrass him. He stands no chance whatsoever and everyone in here aparently knows it.

It seemed obvious, later in the thread but before my quoted post, that the OP's intentions were not serious. He just wants to have some fun. I don't mind that at all. I can also enjoy a Froch fanbase vs Bute fanbase match. We all know the real deal will be on the 26th of May, if no injuries occur (I have a bad feeling about this ). Hope people see it as it is and don't take offense.
Regarding Bute's partner... glad to hear it's "she" in the first place . If it's Pascal's child then Bute would have no problems spotting him imediatelly as we all know God failed to create them with an *******. That perfectly explains their dark skin.

 

I am well aware of that. Watched the fight and thought it was a close one 'till the KO. Both fighters improved but I would give Magee the edge in the improvement department now. Still an underdog, but a very, very live one.

In my view this fight is a tough one to predict. I think Bute has slightly more boxing ability than Froch, he is also faster and perhaps a bit more athletic, younger and fresh since he hasn't been in the wars against top fighters on the trot as Froch has been. I believe he probably hits a bit harder as well. But Froch has things going for him too. He has very good stamina and can KO you in any round from 1-12. He has a world class chin (but remember Bute is an excellent bodypuncher so will this help Froch?) Froch also has one major thing in his favour that could make the difference. Experience. Froch has seen everything now, and he has, with the exception of Ward who is possibly the most talented fighter in boxing today behind Mayweather, been either competitive or won handily. He has underrated boxing ability and is able to come back from adversity. He is also unshakeably confident and his fighting in his home town which always helps psychologically. I would say I'm sort of 55-45 favouring Bute. I wouldn't be surprised if Froch walked through Bute, outfought (rather than outboxed him) and destroyed him late. Equally I wouldn't be surprised if Bute outboxes Froch and wins a UD (MD or SD in England lol) or stops Froch with a bodyshot. I WOULD be surprised if Froch outboxed Bute.

 

As I stated before, I've seen the fight. Both seemed a perfect match 'till that point of the fight. I believe Magee can evade a KO now.

 

I can't see the benefit for Froch at this late stage of his career fighting Magee again.Don't see it selling in the UK.

 

Let's see if Magee evades a KO from Kessler.

 

I would also give Froch a slight edge on the pop department.
For me, according to the videos I've watched Magee seems to have improved great, better than Carl. Magee seems a whole different fighter now IMO. Still give the edge to Froch but a case of overconfidence because of his prior win could lead to a disaster for Carl.
Age ain't defending neither so it should be a great fight if they ever meet.
