now ill admit Froch will push Bute harder than he has ever been pushed but i dont think Froch has enough speed and his shots are easy to see i also think he is too wide open for the liver shot

 

why do people want to slag Bute? Hes doing a fairly good job of being a champion. I think the only real blot on his book is that he avoided the Super Six, fair enough hes not as brave as Carl and Andre but the SM division's top fighters have almost ALL had avoidance syndrome like that - Eubank, Calzaghe, Darius (obviously Otkke, though hes not a top SM), even the great RJJ did a little bit of' padding'. You know why, they all knew they were in a new boxing division and they all had a chance to build a legacy as the best SMs not just around, but ever up to that point. Being called best ever is a pretty cool call, wo why risk fighting the best like Ward and Froch do when you can pad out your career with lots of bums plus a couple of legends and then you can claim to be the best SM ever? (which would be almost true until the division progresses and grows).

I think if you are going to slate Bute then you also need to slate Joe, Darius and Chris Eubank (everyone slates Ottke anyway unles they are German).

Froch has many assets and I respect him a lot but I don't recognize him in what you write.

 

That's because he was ill prior Andrade 1. Bute has fought many other long fights and always been the more durable fighter in the ring. Since Andrade, every Bute's opponent said he would exploit this "weakness" but guess what, noone has been able to do it.

The only overrated thing here is Froch's boxing. Froch is not elite, he's just a brawler with a decent jab, almost no defense, no inside game, quite slow and no footwork.
