But Froch is by far at least the third best fighter that Kessler will face.

I agree, this isn't Jermain Taylor. Not even close in term of boxing skills in the first half of the fight. Second half is another story.

Well one thing is for sure. If Froch pulls off a win here he'll convince many critics, you simply can't decline him respect then.

IMO, if Froch wins this he easily solidifies his claim at being the best currently active British fighter. To hell with Haye. Froch talks a lot but at least he gets his a** in the ring twice a year like clockwork.

I favor Kessler in this but I will eat crow and give respect to Froch if he comes out victorious from the enemie's backyard.

He wasn`t down or hurt against Sartison, more just a bit shaken and out of balance. The only time i seen Kessler hurt was the body punch from Calzaghe

I'm rooting for Kessler but picking Froch by late stoppage. If Froch's nervous maybe it's because he hasn't fought a top SMW with one-punch KO power yet. That'll unnerve you.

I doubt he'll KO Kessler though, maybe stop him on a cut is all.

Kessler has a jaw, and is equally strong physically.
And I find Froch one punch prowess overrated, he can punch, but he's more an accumulative puncher than anything else, and Kessler does not fold over to anyone.

Well if Kessler has lost it then the ref might wave the fight off. I sure hope not. That would be sad.

I don't know but I think this will be the second most exciting fight in Super 6, next to Abraham - Froch.

I am picking Kessler on a TKO win but with Froch, you just expect anything to happen.

Should be a quality, very physical fight.

I agree with what you say, some of it strongly.

Pascal, Taylor, Dirrell and Kessler... a decent bunch around the 168lbs division. What decent bunch have Khan and Haye mixed with?
Khan was dropped by a dometic challenger whilst Haye was stopped by his. Khan was destroyed by Prescott whilst Froch beat inside the distance Brian Magee and Robin Reid.

If the Froch express continues I'm onboard, all the more exciting if he pulls something out of the hat later in the fight if he's trailing on points. :happy

Froch has been in much much more competitive fights than both the other UK champs. To be fair, he gets very little credit and exposure from a lot of people.

Don't forget that he could easily have lost 2 out of his 3 last fights. He did do the work himself, but he was not exactly unlucky.
