Stop with this Haymon bs, his fighters have been on record saying it's up to the fighters who they want to fight. How did Rodriguez end up fighting Ward, that's no excuse.

not the biggest froch fan...but i dont hate him either...

if he takes the fight i think its pretty cool on his part....hell get paid well and if he takes it should be more than enough for him to "get up" for.....

on the otherhand...i dunno how much he really has in the tank...i feel like if ggg destroyed him it wouldnt help ggg that much....people would say froch was done or didnt get up for it

E-Rod fought Ward.... a LONG time ago now, and if you knew anything about anything you would know Haymon was brought in after negotiations between DiBella, Goosen and HBO started.

I mean, citing one example (and a weak one) that long ago.. thats a pretty strong indicator that Haymon does not want his fighters working for the competition. And quite possibly the reverse as well. (HBO "says" they are open to any match that makes sense, Haymon is quiet for whatever its worth)

And yeah Haymon fighters do have some leeway in which fights they take........ on PBC. If GGG could fight on PBC and Lara wanted the fight then sure it would be relatively easy to make.

Is there a slim chance the fight can be made? Sure. Anything is possible. But trying to say a Haymon fighter can just fight on HBO willy-nilly cause the Haymon fighter himself wants it (regardless of which side you hold more responsible for the blockage) is absurd.

If Froch is still silent after this weekend K2 will just take the offer off the table and give it to someone else. Perhaps call Lara's bluff. HBO would surely show GGG/Lara because everyone will be tuning in for GGG.

Doubtful Lara's nadlers will take that offer either so expect another perfunctory shoecase against someone like Helland. Then watch GGG get blamed for being shamelessly ducked, AGAIN!

Froch should just come and say "I retire" or "I want to fight DeGale", the latter of which is much bigger in the UK than getting ko'd by GGG

Froch only needs to get past the first half of the fight and he'd knock Triple G out easy.

This has nothing to do with GGG. Froch is obviously waiting for Calzaghe to tweet a confirmation to fight.

It's clear team GGG are using it as an excuse, they have not even tried making the fight. They are the A side in that fight, they should offer Lara the fight and see what happens. If two fighters want a fight to happen, it will happen.

He comes across as a smug douche.

Also I've been hearing for a couple months now about him and even Hearn talking about Triple G and Froch getting the urge to fight him. Him saying 3 weeks ago about coming to a decision about fighting or retiring in the first week of June, yet it's June 12th and we hear nothing besides the same old **** from Hearn.

Plus the fact he said going back last year “Just swerve Golovkin like the plague. He punches like a mule. I don’t need to be in with him. Dangerous fight.", it makes me think he's been completely blowing smoke this entire time.
