Good news. Froch is already an accomplished great fighter. He's 40 years old and really has nothing left to prove. GGG can continue impressing the mentally challenged by exploding in the ring as a 200/1 favorite against carefully selected tomato cans.

why did you conviniently leave out the facts that N'Dam, Chavez Jr, Martinez's camp, Barker (when he was healthy), Sturm, Quillen all ducked him?

I love how all the trolls keep shouting GGG = ducker yet won't ever mention Chavez Jr turning down a guaranteed 2 fight, 12 millions $.

How many fighters have turned down 12 millions ?

I guess Chavez Jr likes GGG a lot, and refused to give him brain damage ...

Calling GGG the ducker is like arguing Ezzard Charles and the Black Murderers was ducking Gus Lesnevich. This board is whack.

Because you say so? Sorry, all the evidence points in the opposite direction.

From K2 perspective, Lara is way down the list anyhow because he offers no belt and is not even a 160lb fighter. At least compared to a belt holder at 160, or Froch UK superfight at 168.

Thats a fairly big list of matchups to go through and fail to make before Lara even becomes the "next best guy". C^2 aside, winner of DL-NDam and Lee obviously take precedence if those fights can be made.

Now if Froch, and other belts at 160 cannot come to fruition then a Lara fight makes sense. Its also worth noting that Loeffler has recently said he thinks the fight might be make-able, so its possible he has already talked with HBO about it. A year has passed since it was first floated after all. But Lara has to win his next out first, and other fights have to fall through before it could become a topic of serious discussion.

If Lara wins tonight, lets see what he says on live TV post-fight. If he calls out GGG on PBC (probably the first time GGG will be mentioned by name on a PBC show) then that will go a long way. The proper way to call out a fighter is after a win, in the ring, on live TV after all - not on Twitter.

I will admit, I would rather see Lara get the call instead of Johnson or Heiland. Johnson needs to win vs a name first, and Heiland is tailor-made stylistically for GGG.

I don't really see him showing any interest in other champs, all I hear him say is he wants to fights Welterweights and Light Middleweights. He has called these smaller guys so many times that Lara started to call him out and was turned down.

You're the idiotic loser that's so sold on Golovkin devouring bums that you probably rate him alongside Mike Tyson already.

The Chavez Jr. fight didn't happen because Arum wanted Chavez to sign an extension or be frozen. Sturm is a joke who made a career ducking everyone, nothing new there really. Martinez wanted a big payday on his way out of the sport and he earned it, he already got past proving himself in there and Golovkin wasn't offering jack.

You dont see, or hear because you dont pay any attention. You go around calling people names, yet frequently lie and really exhibit no thinking skills at all.

    Its embarrassing to watch. :conf

Didn't he recently say he's interested in facing Mayweather and Pacquiao?. Wasn't he calling out Alvarez when he was still at 154?. Didn't he say he's willing to move up to 154 for Mayweather but not for Alvarez?. Are you as mentally ill as the rest of GGG fans?. If so, enjoy watching him devour bums as a 200/1 favorite.

I doubt Froch would let one man dictate his career. If he wanted to duck he'd just fight someone else.

    Pretty much this.

And it is in neither fighters interests to fight each other.

GGG needs someone active, not a semi retired elite figher like Froch, even when he beats him he gets naff all credit anyway. And the money is really not going to be good enough because Froch is still a major threat.
