Froch is already watching on the trouble it is to get with a guy like Bute, reminds me of Michael Spinks and Butch Lewis well far away and looking on to the unification of the HW titles Tyson-Tucker. The perfect analogy was not Spinks like Froch feeling that Tucker like Bute was a pain in the behind but you could sense Spinks did not believe he could go on much further after that Gerry Cooney TKO and so is Carl Froch in such a situation, wins a majority close Decision against Glen Johnson and watches from outside Bute showinh how you should fight such an opponent.

 

you cant rate him higher, he hasent faced them yet, i think he ment, if bute was invited the perception of who is the best in the division would not be as it is, advantage to froch and ward as to having the opertunaty to fight each other wile bute was stuck with leftovers.
froch, bute, ward, kessler..they are the 4 best in division. place these 4 names in any order and i have no problem with that untill they all face each other as to clearly find out who is best. but you cant leave out bute just because he was not invited. to many promoter would have complicated the tournament even more(that the reason put foward by hershman)

Yeah he's pretty solid, untested but talented. I have nothing against him, I just think his chin is suspect and he's maximizing looking good against shitty guys...IMO.

Has Froch signed up to fight anyone after the Ward fight? Thought not.
Until he meets his contractural obligations in the S6 he can't fight anyone.I saw with my own eyes and heard with my own ears Froch saying that Bute is in his thoughts for after S6 but (quite rightly) he shouldn't look past Ward.
Since when did trash talking and bad mouthing become a crime in boxing? Outside of the Canadian Witness Protection Scheme they do things differently.When will you guys realise that whatever flaws Froch has,cowardice and ducking aren't amongst them.

 

And yes ,I do think Bute is a talented fighter,Ward a bit more so,but both are somewhat unproven.

Hi Sabs,my prediction is Froch to stop him in the late stages after Ward builds up a handy lead.Froch to force a late shootout and come out on top.
