Switzerland would not be neutral territory. Sweden would be neutral territory. Problem solved.

Why can't they stop being babies?

In the german tabloids i read some weeks ago that the contracts say that the fight must be held in the central european timezone....
So Nottingham is out of the race... Froch did not want to fight in Germany...

Newspapers said that both Parties talk about Amsterdam... Now it seems that Sweden would be a possible venue..

I'm a massive Froch fan but I just want to see a fair fight and fair result. Both AA and Froch are coming off their first loss. It would be unfair for either to have the slightest advantage. Switzerland doesn't cut it and Germany certainly doesn't. Personally, in this case I would prefer Vegas. They should take a loss on the gate in the interests of the greater good.

AA gets super protected in Germany. You can't even hit the dude with a body shot. Froch got a gift decision against Dirrell. Neither man has acted very gentalmanly.

Fight in Atlantic City and be done with it. It's not big enough for Vegas or MSG.

Exactly. A bunch of whiney pricks who've never liked Froch and probably never will no matter what the guy achieves.

Personally I've always thought he was pretty one dimensional, but the guy has heart, good work rate and a good chin, he gives everything with what he has. Though he could be a little more respectful to other fighters that's for sure.

It's true that you need to get a ko in Germany just to get a draw so they should just reach a compromise and fight somewhere neutral.

He's a dumb ****. He lost to Dirrell IMO. decent fighter but just talks a load of crap. But to the point, it should be on neutral.

I think Kessler clearly deserved to win against Froch. I think it was a fight Froch could have won but chose to be lazy and let the fight go.
I dont like Frochs comments about home town decisions and not fighting in Germany, but a simple solution would be for the fight to be in a completely neutral place, its just it might not sell as well without local fans for either fighter.
Froch is very frustrating to watch, often losing very winnable rounds by being lazy, it was evident in his career as early as when he fought C Adamu, and has now finally cost him. I fear Froch with his comments hasnt learnt from his mistakes.
Still in all fairness A Ward will be having 3 fights in a row in his own country and Dirrell having 2 in a row and who knows how many after?

Agreed on many points Bailey. The one thing I would like to qualify is that while Ward does have 3 fights in the US, his last 2 opponents also happen to be from the US. Now, if all 3 are in the Bay Area............

Anyway, I don't see why they couldnt put it on the same card as the Ward/Dirrell fight. It could possibly be a preview for who 1 or the other might end up facing in the next round. I know it would not be in the best interest of profit, unless they held it in a larger venue.

Hello Des3995, Good point they could put the fight on the same bill, that would solve alot of problems with ticket sales and marketing, it would also make an interesting night of boxing

Can't see AA showing his face in the states until he absolutely has to as he'll surely be expecting a pretty hostile reception after last time. With Froch v Dirrell not too far behind us I can't see either fighter generating that much support there.

My vote would be France, or throw in a truly neutral wildcard like Australia or Japan if contracts would allow it.

I had Dirrell beating Froch, so I don't really see what he's getting at. I also scored Froch vs. Kessler 114-114, so it's not like it was a robbery.
