Froch is the most overrated fighter!! Dirrell will show this!!

I don't think Froch is rated particularly high, but that doesn't mean he doesn't get a lot of support. Clearly he isn't the most skilled guy out there, but he likes to bang.

In these big fights, he has about as much chance to win or lose, and that's why people are excited to watch him. And his trash talk is some of the funniest there - how can you not like a guy who says he's going to punch someone into 'smithereens'!

dirrells chin imo is a little dodgy hes been wobbled a few times so what happens when froch lands his big shots? also do you think dirrell hits harder than taylor or pascal?

Froch:

• Under-rated jab. He can really pummel a guy with it when he gets it going, see the post round 6/7 of the Pascal fight.
• Under-rated skills. He's actually a decent counter-puncher, and he didn't win a World Championship bronze in the Amateurs with no boxing ability.

Dirrell:

• Over-rated footwork. His lateral movement is constant, but it's clumsy and predictable.
• Over-rated power. Doesn't have the power to trouble Froch.
• Over-rated skills. He's not as rounded & technical as the likes of Ward, he just relies on hand speed and movement.
• Shaky chin. Down twice against Hanshaw wasn't it? Froch can put him in trouble with one-good punch.

 

Froch is overrated but it won't be Dirrell to show this.

 

froch is without a doubt grossly overrated on ESB, but you cant deny the guy is a complete beast, its gonna be a good fight. and im giving both fighters a 50/50 chance

In general he's rated fine but over here we have far too many delusional and idiotic British children so expect him to be overrated. I already see half the British community here agreeing with Froch when he said he's compared to Sugar Ray Leonard. A zero skill zombie compared to Leonard, go figure.

Hey, they were comparing Hatton to Liston for needing to use every cheating tactic available LEGALLY in England against an old past prime, one year inactive with serious injuries Tszyu and still it was a draw going in the 12th so this is nothing.

he may not have the best skills but he makes up for that with power, heart and an excellent chin.

froch has the wbc belt and a good win over taylor and pascal. and dirrel has what? you're picking dirrell and yet you say froch although proven to a certain extent is overrated and the unproven dirrel is underrated? sounds like you've got there names mixed up.

 

I wouldn't even pick Dirrell to beat Tsypko with much confidence. Guy's talented but unproven. And he's not impressed me against the bums he's fought so far either. Froch is the most overrated fighter on this site, but Dirrell won't prove that.
