a few quotes from the article

"It's annoying that Amir Khan and David Haye are world champions and they get shown on Sky Box Office and I'm not,"

"I won my WBC title in December 2008 and it bothers me that I became a world champion in an economic downturn"

"Calzaghe is desperate for good publicity and that's why he wants some new profile on the back of me. It's cringeworthy. Even if he wanted to come out of retirement he's too old and fat now."

a lot of other pointless stuff in the article but the guy to seems like an absolute douche

    heres the full article

Lmao, thats the funniest article i've ever read, he sounds like the bloke down the pub who'd have u convinced he drinks diesel and fights grizzly bears on weekends.

I've got a feeling he's gonna die a bitter old man, cursing Amir Khan lol

And wasnt he the one going on about how great Primetime is etc etc and now he's bitching about being on it, and not on SKY box office, so much for telling it how it is.

God forbid he finds out Khan is next on ITV Live in the early hours lol.

I really REALLY can't see what everybody's problem with Froch is ? Out of all Boxers I probably couldn't think of anyone i'd rather go for a pint with or just have a chat with ?

    Me too.

I feel sorry for Froch. He's had 3 consecutive tough "World" Title fights against 3 good fighters, about to have 2 more, and he's still fighting on a crap channel. The man could end up being The Ring champion within the next 18 months and hardly anyone outside of the hardcore fan base would have seen any of his fights.

He, of course, is partly to blame. His loyalty to Mick Hennessey, though admirable, has held him back for too long. If only he had had the courage and conviction of David Haye when it comes to promoting himself he would have been a mega star.

I feel sorry for his missus. No sex for a month. Well, I have always been a charitable man. So, even though I am spoken for, I am willing to step in and provide Rachael with the loving she needs while Carl is taking care of business.

    I know :rofl

Khan was well established from the outset of his career and David Haye has worked exceptionally hard to create the profile he has now. Froch has to lose Hennessy and stop ranting about what he "should" have.

    including me

    :good

but i don't see why he complains so much, he'll be getting plenty of exposure in the states with the S6 on showtime. if he can get into a few more wars like pascal and taylor the yanks'll love him

    Highlights from Froch on Talksport:

*Says he's on edge at the minute as he's not sure how many of the travelling fans will actually make it to Herning.

*His transport has all been sorted, but still unsure about his family and friends. Worried about being stuck out in Herning.

*Has been told the original judges, selected for the fight, might not be able to travel to Herning anymore so 3 'unknown' replacements are being looked at. Carl says he feels it's a "stitch up" and Kessler's camp are taking advantage of the volcano situation.

Doesn't sound happy at all with the situation.

I quite like Froch, he seems a good guy with a few brain cells.

However I doubt that he does have superstar potential really, even disregarding his fighting ability. He is not particularly charismatic. Coupled with that, he is an overachiever with an ugly, awkward style.

He should be happy with what he has got really, he is on showtime, he has a guaranteed split of 15 million for that. The UK market has kind of passed him by, but he is now on a bigger platform so who cares. He still has a hardcore fanbase in the UK. I dont think that would have, or could change much. He doesn't have any real star quality.
