He quotes 'what can I do?'.

I suggest he simply gets a new promoter . Hennesy is NOT gona take you to the next level I'm afraid. Simple.

When Froch bitches about Calzaghe or Khan it gets a great reception on here but people who don't know him but do them just think he's a jealous dick - and understandably so. I like Carl as a guy but he's been stupid the way he's been so obsessed with Khan and Calzaghe. Boza Edwards or Honeyghan got less for beating great fighters than Bruno got fighting bums. Get over it. Its the game yo.

From what I remember not that many. Calzaghe was never a major draw. He never caught the imagination of the casual fans.

Setanta was Box Office equivalent. A lot of people just bought the Hopkins fight then cancelled soon afterwards.

I'd say he was, towards the end of his career. He did get back to back crowds of 35,000 and 50,000 and win sports personality of the year in 2007, you don't do that just with boxing die-hards.

As far as I know, he was never on Sky Box office. He was on regular Sky for a long time, then moved to ITV with the Lacy fight, then finished with Setanta sports for his last 3.

froch (the character rather than the boxer) really does divide opinions doesn't he? I can't understand the haters myself...seems like a decent bloke to me...'sure there's a touch of the Alan Partridge about him but I think he's half aware of that himself...I dunno how people can't see the humour in his interviews sometimes

good interview, froch is very like haye in many ways, but people seem to like haye more, he is friendlier and comes over better.
hes not a slick boxer at all but he pushes himself further than most when it comes to things like fitness and dedication, thats why i'm a fan. i really dont get why so many dont like him

Haye doesn't go around criticizing his fellow British boxers at every opportunity, comes across a nice chap. Froch has said in the past that he is not bothered about money, fame and man bags, yet it's quite obvious he is.

i think it is you who is concerned with "man bags"

Haye IMO can be quite disrespectful sometimes, but this doesn't make me like him any less, as you need trash talk in boxing.

froch clearly thinks calzaghe dodged him, and feels he is now piggy backing on his subsequent success, and if he feels this to be true, what is the problem with froch venting this??

nah, im a big haye fan but holding up an opponents decapitated head isnt a "nice chap" thing to do. dont get me wrong, i liked the stunt, i couldnt give a **** if hes a "nice chap" but thats a bollocks point. just because he says it all with a smile on his face, unlike froch, that doesnt make him nice

Well the 'smile on the face' wins alot of fans, people find it easier to warm to someone who comes across as friendly, than individuals who rely on wit and deadpan humour, those are the facts of life, not everyone gets Froch's humour, and some just don't like it.

    I get froch's humour, as i get haye's.

i don't need smiles to convince me.

    facts of life???

I learnt them on da streets! word :good
