Froch-Johnson scorecards were b.s.

  1. 117-111????? Really?

Glen walked him down the entire night, landed jabs consistently, did good bodywork throughout the fight, and landed enough big shots. I don't have a problem if Froch wins by a point, but anything more than that is horse****. Froch did absolutely nothing in the first two rounds alone!!

I personally had the fight a draw. The Japanese judge scored the fight well. But a 117-111 scorecard is asinine.

I had it 117-112. There were rounds where Johnson dropped his pace, came forward landing a big shot or two then Froch took over the round. I have no problem with the 117-111 score at all. A lot of the rounds it was just Johnson coming forward with a high guard blocking shots from Froch. So you obviously then gotta score for work rate. Perfect call from the other 2 judges in this case.

It was the Jap that got it horribly wrong.

Froch won the last 4 big.

The rest were mostly close... but Froch won at least 3 or 4 of those.

Froch won the fight but that one score card was too wide. Was that the British judge?

I thought it was quite clear Froch won. Maybe 117-111 is a little too much but it's not crazy.

Clear win for Froch ... 114-114 is more bull**** than 117-111

    This is what I had

    1 10-10
    2 10-9 Johnson
    3 10-9 Johnson
    4 10-9 Froch
    5 10-9 Froch
    6 10-9 Froch
    7 10-9 Froch
    8 10-9 johnson
    9 10-9 Froch
10 10-9 Froch (can make a case for Johnson here but Froch finished the round stronger)
    11 10-9 Froch
    12 10-9 Froch

117-112 to Froch even if I scored round 10 to Johnson, that's still a clear win for Froch

I thought it was a close fight and that Froch could have won it wider.

Froch can be a bit lazy at times.

Each landed 40% total punches with GJ ahead by .03 percentage

GJ landed the cleaner power shots and landed his jab at a higher %.

I don't see how the hell you could score it 117-111 A joke.

who cares it just confirmed my belief Froch is not in the class of Ward, Bute and Kessler. Not in the top three at 168, even with SHO on his nuts.

FTR I bet on Froch and thought he would win easier.

I had it 117-111 to Froch....not a ridiculous score at all, you can't give someone a round because they land a couple of big shots. Froch clearly won the fight and by a decent margin too.
