    Sky are building this up to be a guaranteed 12 round war- it's possible (though unlikely) that this ends within six rounds and is one sided. It's not the ideal fight for the return of PPV to be honest.

    i cant see it though when the last one was a 1 rd war [11] followed by an ok 12th rd, the other 10 rounds were not all that and rarely did we see them go toe to toe during the first 10 rds, it wasnt even fight of the year but eddie thinks it was fight of the century or decade i cant remember

    Its still the same fight though, whether it be "free" or on PPV.

    Lets be fair here, if it was "free" it wouldn't be "free".....people are paying a shed load every month for Sky Sports subscriptions. Its a bit of a joke to ask those premium rate paying subscribers for another £15 for a fight. Thats the biggest problem. I feel sorry for those people more than anything. That is the real issue here, the fact that they are taking the ****.

    I understand why they are ramping up the sales pitch and marketing, but they cannot guarantee a war unless they fix it. You cannot guarantee anything in boxing. It could be the shittest fight ever seen or equally the best fight ever seen. What you have to ask yourself is this, does the CARD justify PPV, does the EVENT justify PPV?

    ....I dont think it does. Considering the chief support is a rematch of a **** fight that happened on SS1 a few weeks back. There is nothing special whatsoever about the card. So they are hyping up the atmosphere to make it seem like it is. In this day and age PPV has to seriously justify it with the card, top to bottom, not just one fight is acceptable now unless it is mega. Most top cards in the US, now have 2 or even 3 top fights.

    They tried to beef it up by including the Bute-Pascal fight, but that isn't happening on that date now either due to injury. So it goes back to being poor for PPV if you ask me.

    IMO this fight would of been much better to go to and get a ticket early. Pay that little bit extra and have a great night out that you will always remember. £15 for it on TV is just to much for what they are offering.

    Just watched some of the build up interviews today. **** me you'd think Carl has a list of words he must use in every interview. Is anyone keeping a tally on them? Someone please buy him a thesaurus for ****'s sake

    we should try get woddyya fella to put together a compilation of froch interviews where he says the word warrior, he must of said it close to a thousand times lately, it would be ****ing hilarious especially if the fight was wank or one of them quit

    Casuals dont know boxing history, they wont notice the over-exaggeration.

    Kessler looking very good on the pads too. Both fighters appear to be in great shape physically and mentally for this.
