A close, action packed fight and honestly, no matter which fighter gets the nod, you can just say "great fight". I wanted Froch to win and scored it 6-6 but I'm not bothered that Kessler won. I had Martinez beating Williams too, but it was such a good fight and performance from Williams, I had no problems with him getting the decision. Both men put on on the type of fight we all wanted from the Super 6. Congratulations to both warriors.
Good to see a positive thread that isn't all about robbery or how everyone sucks all of a sudden. Good work Jack! I agree with the 6-6 in rounds, no complaints about it going Kessler's way. This was just a great fight to watch, definitely wouldn't mind them having a rematch once the Super Six business is out of the way.
See General needs more people like you Jack. Unfortunately, I haven't seen the fight yet but will in a few hours.
There was nothing close about Pav-Martinez. Sergio was a CLEARLY winner. If Pav woulda gotten the nod it woulda been the worst robbery in recent memory. Now tonight's fight was close, and coulda gone either way yes. Edit: Sorry misread the title. Yes I agree it can be compared to Martinez-Williams.
At the end of the day it's fights like these that save boxing. These warriors keep the sport exciting and watch able. You have to admire the fighters for this, NOT gob them off. Anybody who is bitter/sarcastic/negative about these fighters needs to STFU, cause I'd like to see them do better.
Good analogy, Jack. They were both great, action packed fights. But I think that on both occasions the judges awarded the victory to the right man. With bull**** cards granted, still I feel the decisions were just. We need more fights like these!
