Froch is apparently not interested in a fight with Cleverly, and this is very smart on his part. Cleverly possesses the attributes of lateral movement and speed that have given Froch problems in the past, as well in addition to being the naturally bigger man. That said, Froch still has great fights at 168, like Bute or a Kessler rematch. I don't classify this as too much of a duck by Froch at all. Froch, unlike many champions of the recent past, has taken the risks and fought a opponents of a vast variety of styles in their prime. That said, I respect him for not wanting to fight Cleverly and wish him well and continued success.

    I agree.

However, based on past precedents, 90% here on ESB would classify it as a duck.

If Froch were to fight Bute he would be stopped for the first time in his career. Bute has way too many skills. Ward has been running from Bute for a long time now, would not allow Bute to fight in his own personal tournament in which Ward was the only one who did not have to travel. Showtime should force SOB to fight Bute, but they do not want their favorite boxer to lose...........esp. not by knockout...........
