you may be right , but Bute gave him the Gate Keeper status(Taylor and AA are as good as Gatekeepers at 168). I have alot of respect for Froch resume and his achevements but he is overhyped. AA and Taylor on Froch resume is almost the same as Zuniga is a good win on Bute`s resume. All 3 are middleweights and will never hold a belt at 168. IF and only IF Zuniga takes Cloud he adds just little on Bute`s resume. It doesn`t work like that.

 

i wouldnt say froch is over hyped certainly not on here,alot of posters on here have so much hate for froch....
but those haters are now eating humble pie...
as ive said i like watching bute fight but he needs a solid test against one of the elite super middles and its time for bute to prove himself on the road...............
the only elite supermiddle who would fight bute in canada is froch...there is no chance of ward coming to canada.

 

YES he needs to fight better competiton . But, like I said, Froch to FTKO Bute is plain Stupid. Froch may TKO or KO Bute but can also be the other way around. You see were I`m coming from ?

Bute is a stylistically nightmare for Froch. Froch will face a guy with good footwork and good speed. Let's see what Carl has done in the past against boxer close to Bute's lvl in those areas:
Lost to Kessler.
Was losing on points against Taylor
Was very close of loosing against a green Dirrell (some say he actually lost)

Bute is more precise than Kessler is not as green as Dirrell was back then not does he lacks the heart, even tho his stamina isn't the best he doesn't have problems as big as Taylor had in these department.
All these things tells us Froch is likely not going to win on points against Bute.

Bute is a southpaw his left will be hard to defend against by Froch because of the way he jabs. If Bute goes under or slides by that jab he can have a shot at Froch

Bute has a nice left down the pipe witch i think will be successful against Froch if you look AA best shots in the fight where the left jab and the right cross/straight. Jermain Taylor has success with his straights
Bute will catch him with the left uppercut or left hook when he will duck low or attack careless by jumping in or when Bute will step back at the right time and his punches will fall short.

Froch left hook and that faint when he seems like he trows a jab but turn's it into a hook will be useless because Bute's right shoulder.

Froch will have problems with his timing to against Bute.

Froch make too many mistake to beat bute.. and from what I have seen Froch is very hittable buy fighter who throw straight punches and have a slick style .. Bute has both and he does it with speed, power and accuracy .. Sorry but Froch gets his ass whooped in this fight.
