Think Gatti,Ward and Duran, they never ducked and Froch has not too,If all fighters were as brave we would have a fight like that every week...! Supper six has been a triumph and should be done in other weight classes, sorts the men from the over protected boys!

Im not,u go to boxrec and find another fighter that fights top 10's in there backyards for such a period and stays grounded,Legend just dose not mean fighting to me but the way u conduct yourself and he is gold. Floyd and Manny should take note.

    X2.

Honestly, was this more about Froch's prowess: some newly acquired speed, and technical and tactical genius? Or more about Bute not being able to handle the same old Froch?

Full props to Froch, he deserves his moment in the sunshine, but any critical observer must see that this was more about the negation of Lucien Bute than the afirmation of Carl Froch.

    Legend? Are you mentally handicapped?

He's a strong gatekeeper. He would be tooled by Ward/Kessler(Again), Calzaghe.

Legends? Perhaps not. But you have to respect the man for his fearlessness. He fights quality opposition every time and ducks nobody.

Pascal, Taylor, Dirrell, Kessler, Abraham, Johnson, Ward and then Bute. That's quite an impressive run of top quality world class opposition.

Froch has definitely earned his props the hard way. He has clearly surpassed Hatton by now and is getting close to toppling Calzaghe in terms of legacy. Nothing but respect for the guy; he has fought better opposition than any British fighter I can think of from the past 22 years - including Lennox Lewis (all in my oppinion, of course). This win just goes to show how good he and Kessler really are - and how good Ward is.
