My record is better than all of theirs. “I’ve won against more unbeaten fighters than any of them, had more exciting fights." “If the Kessler fight had been in Nottingham, I would have definitely won the fight, 100 per cent.”
Froch is a good fighter lets not take that away from him but he is no Joe Calzaghe as much as it pains him. Calzaghe in his day would of wiped the floor with Froch its as simple as that and would of probably beaten Andre Ward and any of the super 6 guys. I wasnt even THAT impressed with Froch's win over Bute. I thought Bute was too easy to hit and showed he is no-where near the elite level that Sky were bigging him to be in the lead up to the fight.
Just when he gains respect his mouth takes over as usual. I respect the guy for his willingness to fight anyone and the way he came back from both defeats but he doesn't half talk some bollocks in between fights due to his massive ego.
Why? He lost a close but clear decision. What would have made such a big difference if it had been in Nottingham?
I love his self-belief and agree with what he's said. Just cause he has the best record though doesn't mean he's the best. Froch 4 lyf x
People give David Haye a bad time, for apparently being arrogant. Which i don't understand, David Haye never ever compares himself to past fighters and their legacies. On ringside, they tried to pitch him up against the great era of the 70's, and he did not entertain the idea of talking himself up against the Joe Frazier's, Ken Norton's, and Muhammad Ali's....etc... Froch is coming across very smug and arrogant.
