First let me say...THAT WAS ONE HELL OF A FIGHT!!:good I picked Taylor to beat the **** out of Froch and man, was I wrong....Taylor was getting the best of him but Froch stayed calm. Froch showed the heart of a champion tonight, and as a man of my word I give Froch the upmost respect for his performance. Props to Froch for his performance!
He's a double-hard *******. He's almost frightening the way he stalks his prey in the ring. Hopefully he'll forget about Calzaghe and concentrate on the other fighters in the division.
i agree, for what he lacks in skill he makes up for it with guts and grit. if i was taylor i would try to secure a rematch and if i lost that i would retire.
Hello rudyard. I gave froch very little chance of winning this fight. That was a great fight with froch imposing his will and desperation in the final two rounds. What was said after the fight in the interview with the two fighters?
i feel for taylor man he knew he let himself down, 14 seconds and he would be the new champ right now, at least on my card. mad respect to froch tho.
Although Froch is to be commended, it was more of Jermain's inactivity and poor stamina that led to Froch coming back. Froch would get beaten easily by somoene like Joe Calzaghe mainly because Calzaghe's workrate and better boxing ability.
My man I seriously cant tell you....I switched it over to HBO to watch the Lopez\Pennlaso (However you spell the guys last name LOL). I thought I was missing the main event so I switched over without watching the post interview....Maybe you can enlighten me on what happened.
Thats very true..To add to your post...Taylor is a **** poor finisher...He could have had Froch out of there earlier in the fight...he's had plenty of fighters that Taylor could have gotten out of there if he was a better finisher. IMO Taylor lost it more than Froch won, but when its all said and done Froch deserve his due because he took advantage of Taylor's weakness.
The fight was more lost by Taylor, than it was won by Froch. Taylors lack of stamina and lack of punch output in the last 2 rounds cost him the fight. I would also like to see him follow those straight rights with left hooks and right uppercuts more often.
I wish I could tell you.........I watched it on a stream that I paid for by the way......and they cut the aftermath interview which i'm not happy about. I wanted to see what taylor had to say about Froch. If anyone has a transcript of the interview , please do enlighten us.
Bull****. Just give Froch the credit. Championship fights are 12 rounds for a reason. Taylor is the better boxer, no doubt. And if Froch fought Calzaghe it would be a Lacy style schooling. But tonight was Froch's night, he won and won in style. IMHO taking that fight as a first defence, against a true world class fighter on foreign soil he's earned more repect than calzaghe did in all his 46 fights.
there is some weakness in Taylor. I do know that the Taylor who beat Hopkins would have beaten Froch. I think the Pavlik fight did some damage to him. I doubt he will recover from this fight.
