Froch made more money in 1 fight than Ward has in his entire career

    That list is for money earned in 2015 and Froch of course didn't fight in 2015.

    But Froch really didn't earn that much compared to some other fighters. He wasn't really that big a draw during most of his career. He never made more than $1 million during the Super 6, he made only a million for the Bute fight.

    It was after the Bute fight where his popularity really skyrocketed. Ward declining the Bute fight and that initial period of inactivity after winning the Super 6 massively effected both their careers. It resurrected Froch, made him a draw and allowed him to fight for the first time at the 02 Arena in front of a far bigger crowd than before when he rematched Kessler.

    Most were. Ward was able to use his style to good effect in the Froch fight but that made for a rather dull affair.

    It wasn't froch's personality that made him a fan favourite, it was his exciting style of fighting

    Froch also had a crowd of 80,000 people attend his fight in Wembley stadium, Ward couldn't get 80,000 ants to attend one of his in there was an ant colony at each corner of the stadium.
