Froch making noise. He wants Kessler, Taylor or Bute Next

Ok, say he cant get any of the big 3 names mentioned who will he fiight?

if this is the case i'd like to see Froch v Bika, would b hell of a tear up.

I can't see Froch going anywhere, even against average comp.

 

Froch only needs to fight one of these in the thread title and he loses.

He had the opportunity to fight Bute in an IBF Title Eliminator in 2007 but opted to go ahead with the fight he already had planned (Tatevosyan).

 

The reason is very simple and it seems only Froch's team didn't see it coming.

There was simply no point in fighting in an WBC eliminator when Bute's people knew they would never get a title shot.

How long did Froch wait for that damn eliminator? Did he end up getting a title shot against the winner of Kessler-Calzaghe? No! The entire process took what? Close to 2 years?

During that time. Bute fought Bika in an eliminator, fought Berrio for the IBF Title and defended his title twice (Joppy and Andrade).

 

And during this time, Froch waited and talked a lot. Different men, different styles.

 

I'm not sure he wins, but the guy should be applauded for wanting these fights.

 

He deserves a shotat one of them and i'm sure he would give as good has he got.
IMO he should go after Taylor and test his chin again

 

I'm not saying he does not diserves a shot at Bute or Kessler. I mean, if Joppy had his shot... I'm saying he's talking of fights he cannot do at least for the next year. Let's hope he fights Taylor.

Kessler's promotor told Danish medias, 3 weeks ago, that he had contacted Froch's manager in order to set up a fight between the two, however, Froch's manager replied that Froch was gonna fight Taylor next. He said that the Taylor camp had finally begun to show interest in a Froch-Taylor fight.

 

I see, so that's the reason.

But whatever the reason, you can confirm that this actually happened right? That Bute & Froch were scheduled to fight in a WBC title eliminator, before Bute went for the IBF instead, and that Froch didn't turn down Bute?

 

It's not exactly that. Both Froch and Bute could have been in an eliminator in both associations. Then, the IBF asked Bute and Froch for an eliminator. Froch, who already had a fight scheduled with Tatevosyan, decided to let the IBF option down. He chose the WBC way. So, Bute was not scheduled for the WBC eliminator yet when he accepted the IBF proposition. Don't try to make it as if Bute refused to fight Froch. :nono Froch actually turned down a fight against Bute.
