Froch will never accept the split dictated by the terms of a purseoffer.

i would normaly agree but in the interview that is not what he says, he says he wont fight a nobody and that bute is hiding, so considering this from his own mouth i woud have to say yes, it would not look good for him

I was wrong... gone back to read the actual article and there were rumors about Abraham-Stieglitz and Ward-Kessler II

Bute and his team allowing the fight to take place in Nottingham ?
About as likely as Foreman and Ali having a rematch.

:goodGood post. My guess is that Ward would likely ask for a onetime 10 mil or a multifight contract nearing 5 mil/fight guarantee.
Showtime would gladly pay 10 mil for BOTH Bute and Ward, but not just Ward, and they're on the hook to Lucian for 2 mil more the next one they televise.
But...............if they wanna save face after locking Bute out, and guys like Kessler and Dirrel up, they'll pay those figures to make this fight.
My guess is they are hoping Ward will lose to Kessler so they can start this whole mess all over again.
The s6 was supposed to do so much for the division, but instead saw the #2 locked out, several nonfactors get in, and then kept Lucian Bute from fighting top HBO fighters until this messes had cleared.
It's no wonder some of these fighters retire unannounced and have so damned many lawsuits going on all the damned time.:rofl
