I knew I had seen Froch somewhere before outside of boxing: Here's Carl meeting Joshua at the same event: https://www.celebheights.com/sr/a/anthony-joshua.jpg
My wife and I were there too. I watched the fight, my wife kept staring at some guy with a huge boner.... wait a minute! LOL
Ward just got inducted into the boxing hof a couple of weeks ago dummy. He'll be remembered forever troll.
It's weird people boast about the Ward win over Froch because it was a terrible win. Grappling, ducking below the waist, never hurting him once. It doesn't compare to the Kessler win over Froch or even Groves' performance in the first fight. In fact, Groves showed far more CLEAN boxing skills in the rematch despite the KO. Taylor did also. If Ward was such a master boxer, why couldn't he just fight a clean fight and win that way? The reason is he knew he couldn't take the heat in a real boxing match, where the wrestling and grappling couldn't save him from eventually taking clean hits. See, people pretend Froch had no skills but look what happened to 'slickster' Bute and even Groves and Taylor. Froch found a way to catch them. But credit to them for actually trying to box Froch within the rules.
The lengths people go to discredit great boxers and not give them an ounce of credit is hilarious. Ward beat froch fair and square, lastly you don't need to hurt someone in order to win a boxing match you sound like a casual. He beat froch clean I doubt you ever saw the fight just repeating things other Ward haters have said.
It's still daylight in this photo, isn't it? I was at Wembley for Joshua vs Povetkin and 90% of the crowd comes an hour or even an hour and a half before the main.
Old Frochy's just got a very deliberate and very dry sense of humour/satire I think. Dryer than a nun's fanny. But, yeah. There's some boorish arrogance there too. For the most part though it could be considered justified to a degree based on his achievements. Mind you, there's nothing worse than arrogance in a bloke who has no justification (deluded) for it.
