i dont know just yet, but after watching pascal desiceively beat dicanao whom many claimed chad dawson ducked, im starting to think froch is a little better than most do. i think he is gritty tough determined and powerful and thats a nasty combo. imo only hopkins and calzaghe comfortably get the edge against froch but not by much.

Froch certainly is a hard man.I was very impressed that he came back with so much determination against Taylor.Because of his toughness,he just may be the #1 guy in a very formidable division.

Froch was woefully underated by some posters prior to the Taylor fight, and a few die harders still persist with their derision of a formidable fighter. Will he rise to the top of SMW division? Probably not, I think perhaps Kessler will have too much for him, but you can't write him off against anyone. He's hard as nails, with a solid chin, power, heart and throws punches from tricky angles, but the way he fights with a very open defense I can see him losing a couple along the way. He's just wide open for getting tagged and I'd fancy a top SMW who goes the distance with him to win a point decision. I hope the Froch express marches on and he plows through some more top opposition before he's derailed though.

    He's overrated now.

    Good fighter though.

Makes you laugh how a majority of the yanks on here wrote off Pascal as a bum after the Froch fight.
And now there crawling up his arse after the Diaconu fight.
Kind of puts Froch in a bit of purspective after the 2 wars against Pascal and Taylor.
And for the record the Taylor fight WAS NOT as wide as some people on here like to think.
    Froch is the real deal.

The SMW is a three horse race Froch, Bute, and Kessler, that is if Kessler is still fighting. I am uncertain how good Kessler is at this point, haven't seen him fight since the Calzaghe fight and that's ages ago now.

I think Kessler would be better off getting another fight or 2 under his belt before tackling Froch. If Kessler's timing and stamina are anyway off, he could be in for a hell of a night against Froch. I'd like Carl to do well for himself and British boxing. He's starting to come into the limelight now and would help keep the sport in the minds of more casual fans.

He's gonna have to tighten up his defense at the level he's at now.

its a shame froch didnt get to taylor before pavlik did he would of got more recognition , although pavlik did manhandle taylor alot easier.

so it a possibility froch's next fight could be Allan green that would be pretty exsplosive

:goodI agree with every single part of that. Funny how the very people who said Froch was a nobody prior to the JT fight are now lauding him as the best SMW on the planet.

Allan Green is the perfect fight for both men, be it in the U.S or U.K. Will Allan Green take it though? We know that Froch isn't afraid to travel and will fight anyone. Green has yet to step up to this level.
