Agreed. Froch has faced good quality, live opponents on the bounce. One after the other he keeps taking fights against people who have a decent chance of beating him. BUT, let's not pretend his list of opponents is one to rival Oscar de la Hoya's. People go OTT when talking about Froch. People also seem to forget his losses. Yeah he faced kessler and Ward, but he lost. Calzaghe has beaten Kessler (arguably a better version) and also has a win over Hopkins. Wins over the likes of Reid and Eubank are also good enough to match Froch's wins against the likes of Bute, Abraham and Taylor. There's not that much in it, but at the moment Calzaghe still has the better record. If Froch had gotten the wins over Kessler and Ward, you could put forward an argument that his legacy is greater. As it stands, it's not. Yeah he had a boring personality, slapped his punches, is a shite dancer, and Welsh, but people let their dislike of him and their love of Froch mess up their judgement.

yeah froch will win this time round as kessler is even more shot now. A victory over an average magee doesn't mean anything.

Carl Froch reminds me of the child born in the middle, not the first or the last, the one that always misses out on the love. The afterthought.

Its like Carl is trying to fight two battles, one that he has control of, and one that he doesn't. And he seems to be doing everything in his life to prove people wrong, and prove he is better than Joe Calzaghe.

He won't rest, or shut up. It's eating him up inside how loved Calzaghe was, Carl Froch thinks the whole world owes him something, that he was ignored and left in the gutter for years. And now he is finally getting the exposure, everyone should bow down to Froch because hs is the best thing since sliced bread, and a warrior.

Will Carl Froch ever stop talking about Joe Calzaghe? What will it take? Joe to come back and shut him up? Or for Carl to be humbled by Kessler? I.E. Knocked out.

It's become an obsession for Carl Froch, he should just shut up talking about the impossible and focus on what he is doing, how he can get a name for himself, and not of the back of talking about others.

I agree on Magee, a problem I have with Calzaghe is the he is the epitome of a FW fighter, win the WBO strap, stay at home fighting mainly bus drivers with the odd decent fighter thrown in now and again. Its a shame because he could have done a hell of a lot more with his career.

Carl Froch is an absolute **** of a person. The guys got such a big chip on his shoulder it's a joke.

He can never get any headlines apart from when he namedrops other more celebrated fighters.

Quite fitting he's spewing this bull**** in the Star, the choice for a classy guy like Froch, right beside a pic of his wife getting her tits out no doubt.

Guy should stfu about legacy, as the great Eubank Snr said, that's for others to judge not him

Mitchell and the version of Reid Calzaghe fought are equal to Frochs best wins Bhop and undefeated Kessler are far better.

Froch still gets massive credit for facing the level of fighters he has one after another in a short space of time.

F*cking right on though pal!:lol::lol:

My dad has been to some of his early fights, and apparently that wench and all her mates were at one fight in Sheffield up in the cheap seats. And she was screaming and shouting all f*cking fight, she couldn't wait to tell everyone around that is her special man.

They are made for one another. It will all end in tears!

He is is one bigoted arrogant self important ****, begging to get sparked out! The older he gets, his punch resistance will get less and less. I reckon he will get taken out before the end of his career. And he will deserve it for a being a **** outside the ring. It will be a lesson, and he will become a better person because of it.
