He wanted to fight Chavez Jr. but this fight doesn't make sense anymore.

A fight against Fonfara would sell great. The two greatest Polish active fighters against each other. Make this fight happen in Londyn, where lots of Poles live or in Chicago. English people would live that fight too because many see Froch as one of their own.

If Froch wants to proof hmself though, he needs to fight one of these great champs. GGG or Kovalev are waiting.

If he considers something else, he should retire. No other fight makes sense except those 3.

    Froch will likely retire

Hes paid his dues and doesn't need to take a beating from Golovkin before he retires

Froch is a legend and nothing to prove and most likely deserves an easier swansong but the way he's been talking about Golovkin, dismissing him as a small guy and he'd dismantle him like Abraham and how he would've wiped out Murray in a few rounds... his head is as big as the 80,000 stadium he knocked out that obnoxious prat in. He also fought at WEMBLEY STADIUM infront of 80,000 in case you didn't know. I like Froch though he's very honest but he gets too wrapped up in some kind of insecurity where he needs to punch his chest repeatedly and remind everyone what he's done. Nothing wrong with being proud but it can be toxic.

Froch has earned the right to do what he damned well pleases at this point in his career.

unless any of these fighters can bring a vegas fight to the table then i doubt froch would take the chance to end his career in defeat so personally i would like to see carl in a big british bout vs james degale but also highly unlikely
