The people who felt he was ducking Froch were correct?

He was left with no other choice but to fight Groves. He didn't choose to fight him, he was forced into it.

His promoter wanted the Groves fight, his broadcaster wanted the Groves fight, his fans wanted the Groves fight...so remind me, what options did he have?

The Groves rematch was the only option he could take if he wanted to keep his 'warrior', 'I'll fight anyone.." image intact.

He wanted to avoid the rematch. The IBF ruling that he must take the fight or vacate forced him into a corner, basically he either had to fight Groves or vacate which would have looked like a serious duck.

If your going to duck someone, it means you wont fight them no matter what the options are. Rematch has been made !

Froch is a lot of things a ducker he aint and all those idiots on here slagging him off saying he wouldn't take a rematch how need to find something else to moan at

don't forget all the confident predictions froch would vacate. these enobodies have convinced themselves their opinions have swayed froch, not his career-high payday.

I really dont get the hate for Froch, We meaning the Uk have a great champion in Carl Froch. You may not like what he says or his brothers antics but Froch goes anywhere and fights anyone. Has had some great comeback wins for example J Taylor. Fought the worlds best in the diversion time and time again.

Took a massive shot in round one and still kept going, weather you thought the stoppage was early or not still got Groves into mess and out on his feet. Took the rematch with Groves which many eastside experts thought he would duck. Rematched and beat Kessler and is still trying to get back in with Ward.

I think a lot of our top level boxers could learn a lot form Froch with regards to fighting the best and travelling anywhere to prove yourself . When you also consider Froch is not the most technical or skilled of our boxers and tends to get the job done with balls and will , makes it even harder to not give credit where credit is due.

Froch is in no way shape or form a ducker, otherwise he would have vacated and fought someone else. But let's be honest, groves rematch was definitely not his preferred option, he clearly didn't want to do the rematch. he took it because there was a high demand and didn't want to be seen as ducking groves, which is a good thing for us as fans.

whatever our opinions on the stoppage, froch considers it a legit win, and won't be bothered about anyone claiming he's ducking a bloke he believes he beat. with limited fights left, he wants the biggest fights, until he saw what this rematch was worth to him.
