not all A level fighters but they hardly "suck".

 

1- Bute is Romanian

2- Jean Pascal, Arturo Gatti. They are both from the Province of Quebec and both fought in the last decade. Let's do some math:
Population of Quebec = 8M people
Population of the USA = 300M people
So "per capita", the USA would need 7500 fighters of the same caliber (in the last decade...) to equal the Province of Quebec.
I could also do it by world champions: Gatti, Hilton, Lucas, Alcine, Pascal. The USA would need 18750 world champions in the last decade to top that.

What were you saying? French canadians tend to suck?

And I didn't mention those like Bute who grew up in other countries.

IF Bute earns his stripes by actually fighting and beating 168lbers with a pulse then he might earn a shot at Froch.
