Froch not impressed with Bute

5:30 on Magee out COLD 5 years ago, something Bute couldnt do :hey and Magee has been fighting the same level of fighters since then.

 

What you don't say is that Magee was competitive against Froch until he got KOed. He was never a threat against Bute.

 

Bute will beat Froch if they ever fight.

 

What 5 years ago??? ermm thats along time you know Froch put Magee down in the first round plus had a broken hand from round 2 onwards fact! Ofcourse Magee was never a threat to Bute Did anyone say that before the fight? NO everyone thought Bute would beat Magee, I doubt anyone even knew of Magee outside of the Uk and NI before the fight? or did youatsch

 

There is a whole world of difference between Andrade and a boxer like Kessler or Froch.

 

Froch has more skills and ability than Bute.

 

They probly have in this era of multi champs per weight. If you want to work it out like that take a look at Wales who had 3 champs at the same time despite having a population of less than 3 mil. I thought Pascal was Haitian anyway?

 

He actually went into the ring against Magee and all I can say is he didn't look like Pernell Whitaker. And don't give me the it was 5 years ago excuse. Magee is not shot and he has improved since the Froch fight.

Look, Froch looked good against one single good opponent. He struggled with each other he faced. Since Abraham was also schooled by Dirrell, that may tell us more about Abraham than about Froch.

 

Pascal is born in Quebec but came to Quebec when he was a young boy. He learned all his boxing here, so we can take the credit for his success.

 

Will Froch be there to face Bute, win or lose the super 6? Or will he go up to 175 to rematch Pascal, as he said multiple times?

Froch wins the trash talk fight but that's the only one he'll win.

 

Its very hard to say really between Froch and Bute. For name recognition Froch has a better resume than Bute, but I wouldnt like to call it as it sounds ie
Froch beat undefeated Pascal who wasnt a top 10 SMW. Bute beat Andrade who was the #3 SMW at the time. Yet because Pascal has done well at LHW beating hype job Dawson he is considered a very good better win for Froch.
Froch beat Taylor who was a very good away win for Froch against a world class fighter, but Taylor was only 2 fights past a loss and 3 past a KO, Bute rematched Andrade as Bute was lucky not to have a KO loss. Andrade being a top 10 SMW also but not as highly rated as Taylor.
Froch beat Dirrell who really hasnt done much of note as a SMW but is highly rated due to potential and being American but hasnt achieved as much as a SMW as B Magee (a European champ) who Bute last beat time out (though Froch has also beaten), but Dirrell is more recognised due to the S6 hype and being American.
Froch lost to Kessler in a close fight and Bute could have had a KO loss scored against him in his first fight with Andrade.
Froch beat Abraham who was coming off a loss and isnt a good SMW. Bute beat Zuniga who is probably a bit less at SMW than Abraham.
Froch is next fighting Johnson who is not much more than a glorified journeyman, Bute has fought Brinkley, Miranda, Bika, Salem, Joppy.

Overall Frochs resume due to name recognition and willingness to travel has most likeley given Froch a better resume than Bute but Pascal wasnt a top SMW and Dirrell hasnt done much and Abraham has shown he cant compete at top class SMW and is talking of going back to MW.
Bika is probably a better SMW than Abraham and Andrade a higher rated SMW than Pascal was.

None of this is saying any fighter is better or worse than any other. Point is dont be fooled by hype

 

Froch has more experience than Bute against world class opposition. He's got a lot of self confidence due to wins against top 5 guys, close fight with Kessler etc. Froch has a great reach, even compared to Bute. Froch's definitely got a better chin than Bute after taking bombs from Pascal, Kessler, some shots from Dirrell... Froch IMO has more determination than Bute, and is one to fight to the finish to save his pride or something.

...but he doesn't have more skills or more ability in whatever, than Bute. :smoke

Can't beleive some posters on ESB, I mean, you have to be objective some times. You could maybe say that Froch has more grit, is fearless and will not turn down a challenge......but to say that he has more skills and ability than Bute is way wrong. I guess you are just trying to tease Bute's supporters with your non-sense. To me, you win quote of the day!!!
