Carl Froch believes Hatton has made the wrong decision
in coming out of retirement to fight again.

'I think he should stay retired but who am I to tell him that?
He’s two years younger than me and only he will know if he can
get himself into shape to compete at the top level again.'

'Should he come back? Is it the right decision? We’ll only find that out over the next year,
18 months, however long he’s back for, and that will be based on how he performs.

'He got knocked out quite badly by Pacquiao and nobody wants to go out like that but is
that the writing on the wall? Is that telling you it’s the right decision (to retire)?

    Wise words from Froch.

Hatton should quit, period EVEN if he can win some.

Froch is an honest bloke, not two faced. Props to him for that.

Ricky is doing this for himself, he deserves the oppertunity, let's see what he's got.

I remember all the cry-babies when Froch said if he was Khan,he'd retire.
No doubt he'll cop some unnecessary bull**** for saying what most of us are thinking.

froch has ulterior motives it seems. Hes always giving the gloomy prospects to his fellow british fighters. First amir khan and now hatton. It seems froch is bitter that he wasnt a star in boxing in the UK as he feels he should have been and is now slowly garnering that stardom towards the tail end of his career. Havin hatton come back probably makes him feel threatened that all the british eyes will peer away from him once again and focus on the attraction that is ricky hatton leaving poor froch in the shadows once more..

I knew this was exactly what was coming.
I was a big fan of Ricky and like the vast majority of people,I think he should stay retired. Is that because we're all jealous?
Utter bull****.It was a perfectly reasonable comment yet we always seem to have people accusing him of bitterness/jealousy.There's not a thing wrong with what he said.
