Im starting not to feel bad for Carl getting shunned by the general public throughout his career. He gets so haughty once he gets any achievement or glamour or fame or goes on the Jon Ross show. I remember when asked about Groves, he kept talking about how Groves yearns for the fame he has or the money hes making and becoming nationally known etc and now this, after beating a faded Kessler. Joe Calzaghe would have wiped the floor with him and so will Ward if they ever rematch. Imagine the hate Amir Khan would have if he behaved like Froch lol..

 

He wouldn't make the top ten list.

 

Lewis is so far ahead of you you cant even see him Carl, seriously i like Froch but this right here is still adrenalin pumping...

Only if he avenges the Ward defeat does he enter discussion for a top fighter.

 

I like Froch but that's crazy stuff. He's miles behind someone like Buchanan, before you even consider some of the pre war fighters like Wilde, Kid Lewis, Lynch etc

When you get beaten so clearly by Ward as you did it doesnt put you that high all of the above except for Joe either lost to the best in the division or beat everybody they fought.

Also if you really drill down into his career he was outboxed , dropped and nearly outfought by a pretty shot Taylor. But this is being super critical.

 

Truth is he should have an L to Direll and was lucky he got the knockout in the last seconds against Taylor.

 

What about Jim Watt? Wasn't he THE champ? Right there he outranks Froch.

 

What about Bob Fitzsimmons?

Froch comes across as egotistical and bitter outside of the ring.
