Calzaghe win over Kessler > Froch win over Kessler (Primer, unbeaten, more-active version)

Calzaghe win over Hopkins > Froch win over Bute

Calzaghe win over Lacy > Froch win over Ward (Ward = nobody, unproven prospect)

    Enough said.

    Taylor > Hopkins x 2(primer younger)> Calzaghe-Hopkins

Froch >Taylor > Calzaghe wins ROFL

    :lol::lol::lol::lol:

My money is on Froch going down in history as a worse WBC SMW champion than Cristian Sanavia.

tell me why he doesnt overtake him?

Calzaghe is rightfully the nr:1 supermiddle of all time at the mo (Jones is the best fighter to have faught at 168 but joe has acheived more)

wins against Kessler and emm....cant think of much else...

but if froch beats the others

that swins overTaylor (who is far bette rthan Lacy at any point)

Kessler (joe beat Kessler with home advantage and Kessler had one hand(hence why he wore Everlast not Grant GloveS)

Because he can't punch people in the face as good as him.

Calzaghe only faught 2 decent fighters in 11 Years as supermiddle champ who were on the UP!

froch has the opportunity to beat more and face better opposition

Because Carl Froch is a skillless joke who was getting DOMINATED by Taylor untill Taylor gassed.

Froch will go as far as his chin allows him to.

Taylor controversially beat Hopkins twice. He lost the 2nd fight undoubtedly. Calzaghe would of beaten Tayor comfortably.

I'm a Froch fan aswell but he was badly behind on points before he pulled out a win with 14 seconds left. This was also the mentally fragile version of Taylor who had already lost twice and been knocked out brutally.

The fact is, Lacy at the time was more proven than Andre Ward is right now and Calzaghe schooled him. Calzaghe beat an unbeaten, more active version of Kessler.

He also beat Hopkins, a top 10 P4P fighter at the time easily. And an elite fighter. Which is a far better win than any Froch win over Ward, Bute or Kessler.

Add that to all the contenders he beat like Bika, Omar Sheika - at the time a US prospect - etc, and a 10 year reign - there's no way Froch overtakes him. Like I said I'm a Froch fan aswell, I like both fighters. But Froch won't beat Kessler. And he could lose to both Ward & Bute.

    Erm.

Mikkel Kessler - Unbeaten, primed, active WBC/WBA super-middleweight champion. Comfortable 8-4 win. Better than a potential Froch win over Kessler, or Bute or Ward.

Bernard Hopkins - Elite top 10 P4P fighter. Showed he's still got it by schooling undisputed MW champion Kelly Pavlik and beating Winky Wright comfortably before that. Tight but clear win, around 7-5. Better than a potential Froch win over Kessler, Bute or Ward.

Jeff Lacy - Hyped as the 'new Mike Tyson'. Unbeaten, strong and big punching. Every expert picked Lacy to knock out Calzaghe. The Welshman promptly schooled him. Dominating win 12-0. Better than a potential Froch win over Ward.

Omar Sheika - Was ranked as a good contender by most experts, and hyped as a decent prospect by a lot of Americans. Recently beat Glen Johnson. Calzaghe knocked him out in 5 rounds.

Sakio Bika - People forget what a tough, tough fighter he is. He's so awkward and difficult to fight. Gave Calzaghe a tough night, but Calzaghe showed his heart by prevailing by a comprehensive 9-3 decision, despite being cut after constant head-butts and having a broken hand.

Byron Mitchell - Good contender/belt holder. Should of been WBA/IBF champion going into the Calzaghe fight as he was jobbed against Ottke. Calzaghe knocked him out in 2 rounds.

Robin Reid - Close fight, recent former WBC champion. Good, tough fighter. Like I said close fight but Calzaghe won, it was in my mind relatively easy to score. Most people see the split on Calzaghe's record and say he got a gift, which I don't think is true at all.

Chris Eubank - Definately not primed in the Calzaghe fight, but Joe himself was pretty green and it was a dominating win against a guy who went on to push cruiserweight Carl Thompson close twice.
