I have to agree with the comment that at this time Bute needs Froch more than Froch needs Bute, in order to prove a step up in class.
Win or lose in the S6, Froch can now have some big money home fights - Groves, DeGale, Cleverly, Bellew etc.
If Ward were to win the S6, then Bute could jump Froch and fight Ward, but as much as I like Bute, I have a feeling he doesnt really care if he gets the big fights or not as long as he has a solid paying fan base. Could be wrong. Hope so

Let's say for arguments sake Froch wins the S6 and wants to fight Bute in a home-coming fight.

Do any of you Bute fans sincerely think that Bute will be up for travelling to Nottingham?:think

Nah... Bute is seen by many as the best SMW in the world. Froch isn't now and he certainly won't be after he loses to Ward.

Secondly, Bute can make big money even without Froch.

Froch cannot without Bute. He's only got Kessler again, and that's it.

The reason Froch goes on and on about Bute all the time is because he's desperate for Bute to give him the payday.

    Fortunately for him, Bute will.

If the fight can only be made in Nottingham, then yes.

However, if Froch were to win the s6, he'd want to fight Bute in Las Vegas or the East Coast because that's how he can make the most money, whilst not having to accept a fight in Montreal/Quebec.

Froch is not a big draw anywhere, including Nottingham, so it would be crazy to make the fight there.

:rofl:patsch What evidence do you have of Bute willing to a) fight the best and b) travel?

    There isn't any. None.

And Froch can sell 20k. The Ward fight is on Sky too so can only boost his profile.

You know nothing about boxing or this topic, newb.

Bute has been trying to fight the best since 24 October 2008, and ALL evidence has pointed to that. ALL evidence!

Froch can sell 12k at best, but most likely he'd only be able to sell £10k.

Bute regularly sells 16k against average opponents. Against Froch/Kessler, he'd sell 20k+.

    Again, you know nothing.

Nottingham Trent only holds 10k you total imbecile.

What kind of boxing fan are you?

You support a guy who refuses to fight the best and won't leave his hometwon to seek the big fights, yet besmirch a road warrior like Froch who is willing to fight anyone, anywhere... you need your head checked.

I'm not sure why you think there's a contradiction.

Bute fought the best competition available to him. In between Andrade and Johnson, his opposition has been B- to B level, so fairly average at world class level.

Kessler ducked him and everyone else was unavailable because they were in the s6.

Is there anyone Bute could have fought that he didn't, who was better than the ones he did fight?

    Give me names.

You've just owned yourself, but you are too intellectually challenged to realise it.

Just when you said he's been trying to fight the best then said he regularly sells 16k against average opposition.I think you meant all evidence proves that he regularly fights average opposition.

    :?

He regularly fights average competition and that competition happens to be the best available to him, because everyone else is either unavailable (super6) or is ducking him (Kessler).

If he regularly sells 16k against average competition, he will sell more against better than average competition.

I hope that's clear enough for you.

Again, give me names - who should Bute have fought that he didn't, since the Andrade rematch?

    You're avoiding my question.
