:good Ring generalship and work rate are the two of the most overused phrases on this forum, they don't mean **** if the other man is knocking the bejesus out of you

 

Because Kessler boxed just enough to get the 2-3 rounds margin and fought like a warrior for it ... Look at the last round.And you don't give the men the credit he deserves.Even if it's a close fight it is still clear in my eyes.Kessler deserves the win. How can you say robbed ... and BIG TIME?

 

And modest as well.

It was close. I had it a draw. It could have went either way. Let's just end this thread by discussing how good the fight was as a whole and it's not a career-ending loss. He can still win the S6.

I might score more for effective aggression, or for cleaner punches.

Scoring is completely subjective.

Nice Avatar,bad analysis.I thought Froch was dictating the pace and landing the heavier more accurate punche's.Kessler was game i'll admit that but when both fighters let there punches go it was clear that Froch was heavier handed.

He wasn't dictating **** and his trainer was the first to let him know this. You could quite clearly tell that he himself knew he had lost the fight at the end. He didn't even put up his hands in celebration is that the body language of a man who thought he won the fight...
