Froch ruined AA for good - I don't expect him to bounce back from this

AA is finished, Froch sealed his fate. Big props to Forch, he thoroughly established him as the #1 British boxer, willing to face the toughest opposition and not hand picking any opponents.

Regarding Abraham, he won't bounce back from this devastating 12 round beating and schooling. Nothing worked for Abraham, not a single attack. Every time he came forward he was schooled. Again, again and again. This could psychologically be more devastating for a boxer than a simple first round lucky-punch knockout.

And when nothing was working for him he was pulling out his acting skills and complaining about low blows and rabbit punches. That was so lame. Made me actually reconsider the Abraham - Direll fight and aftermath. Direll is a whimp that has no place in professional boxing, but what about Abraham's acting and whining?

Expect Abraham to reconsider fighting Ward. Ward is a high risk setup for Abraham at this stage. If he loses he's done for good, having lost three out of three fights.

The "international superstar" dream that has been envisioned by Kalle Sauerland for Abraham has been scrapped as of last nights schooling handed to him by Froch.

Alternatively, I foresee him trying to cook down to MW and finish his career off in Ottke/Sauerland style boxing a bunch of stiffs in front of sold-out hometown crowds for decent pay days against low-risk opposition. Then cash in with a big showdown against Sturm. That's probably the best case scenario for Abraham.

I don't think he could beat Ward. So perhaps he will try and get out of the fight.

Styles make fights, that's what Super Six kept producing over and over again. Ward dominating Kessler in an ugly fight but strugging mighty with Bika. Kessler after having lost clearly beats Froch. Froch barely gets past Dirrell, loses to Kessler than dominates Abraham. Abraham outboxes Taylor better than Hopkins and Froch but gets outboxed himself from distance twice. A lot of surprises.

Abraham is what he is, movement and output always have and always will trouble him, but I never saw this kind of perfect fight coming from Froch, not after the Pascal, Dirrell and Kessler shaky moments, much props to him. I don't think Abraham is finished, and I don't think Ward have such a great outside game, so that fight could be tricky even tough I expect Andre to win on the inside. But one thing is for sure: AA is no SMW, and he can't go down to MW, so he's in no-man's land. Hard to say what will come after the Super Six, but one last payday and he can get out with like 50M Euros or something, that's not bad. And maybe the Sturm fight will came off after all at some catchweight, Felix knows Golovkin will end him so he better look for the payday too.

    WAR ABRAHAM!

Abraham looked beaten before he even entered the ring.
I think the Dirrel fight ruined Abraham, and Froch just stamped on his wounds. Full credit to Froch though, he couldnt have done any better

I think you've got something there... AA came into the ring as if he didn't want to fight.

Oh god if every fighter would be ruined after one or two losses most ATGs wouldn´t be atgs. Was Louis ruined after Schmeling? Ali after Frazier? Robinson after the loss to LaMotta?

No, he isn´t ruined. He can bounce back. He has a decent chance against Ward due to styles but I guess Ward´s speed will win it for him. Afterwards he could either go for Stieglitz´belt, which he would win, or for a catchweight fight with Sturm.

abraham should have dressed up like a king...he forgot all that ****.

he got figured out... he knew he was exposed by Dirrell...and he didn't patch any of those faults up... still stayed in his shell getting his gloves beat into his face...being an actor..
I like how he had nothing to say at the end of the fight...and when they asked him about ward.. even his own face was like..yeah...damn...

He has zero chance against Ward

He will get out of the fight

Going back down to middleweight sounds about right

Dirrell layed the blueprint on how to beat Abraham, but he failed to execute it perfectly.
Froch used that blueprint and put on on a masterful performance against Abraham.
Froch broke Abraham heart. I don't think Abraham will ever be the same.
He's so ashamed of this performance that alone may ruin him mentally.

Abraham should forget all this. Choose another trainer that will help him unblock the mental issues that prevent Abraham from throwing punches and get back in the ring.

He completely needs a new start. I think he's done.

Froch smashed Dirrell, then Dirrell was going to get Ko'ed by AA so cheated, he then refused to fight Ward due to lack of heart. AA just met the bets boxer hes faced in the Cobra, Carl dominated prime AA.

Explain yourself then. What doesn't make sense? I tell it being on a neutral point of view. That's what I see.

froch and AA are 2 of the hardest nuts to walk into a boxing ring and you're saying that AA was broken mentally..you dont think he'll be the same from that fight.

no offense, but that's full of ****, and i'm willing to bet you're british.
