Exactly. His best win is a middleweight

Bute shouldn't be top after the Super 6 but I'd like to see the winner fight him just to tie up the loose ends.

Definetely, but he's fought nobody to get some of the credit he gets by some.

He's a good fighter is Bute. I'd pick him to beat Froch.

 How it took so long for someone to beat Froch was amazing. He got very lucky against Dirrell, and I'd pick that Dre to beat him in a rematch. But I think Froch would beat Ward (he's as willing to get rough and a lot meaner).

I don't think Froch will beat Abraham, but it'll probably be a close competitive fight. But would beat Abraham, IMO.

Its good news for Froch if he beats abraham and then Ward he automatically rematches Kessler which would be his only defeat. Alternatively if he loses at any point he can move straight up into a match for the WBC LHW and ring belt against Pascal. So whatever way things go he still has a fair few big nights ahead

I think he's at number 1 in some peoples lists (inc. The Ring) because at the start of the Super 6 Kessler was number 1, Bute (rightly or wrong) was number 2 and they don't want to leapfrog Ward straight to the number 1 spot based on just that one win so they just moved Bute up, Kessler down to 3 and Ward up to 2.

Kind of makes sense but it just don't sit well with me at all.

Agreed, I'm starting to think I'd give Carl a better chance against Ward than Dirrell at this stage.

Bet Froch can't believe his luck. Loses the belt and gets to fight for it again in the very next fight. Good news.

Kessler lost WBA belt and then got a shot straight away at the WBC. That's one of the benefits of the tournie. Happy days for the Cobra.

As an aside I'm not convinced by Bute yet either, I think Froch would get to him in the later rounds, Dirrell would out slick him and Ward would out-filth him.
