    Bute aint no Calzaghe.

Bute fights off the backfoot, and uses counter punching.

Calzaghe fights at midrange and looks to outwork.

    They dont fight the same.

"I don't want to put myself up there with Sugar Ray Leonard and Muhammad Ali and some of those top level fighters but they all got beaten and they all came back

Fail to see the fascination with Calzaghe. His resume is pathetic,if he stepped up competiton earlier I could respect him,but he fought a lot of C and D level fighters. He avoided Johnson like the plague and didn't even look good beating a completely shot Jones.
I think Froch has many flaws but he has fought much better opposition.I find it a lot easier to respect Froch because of this, and even after getting battered by Ward he is taking on Bute next.Fair ****s to him!
Joe had the potential to be great but chose an easy path.

Crazy. He had a close fight with Kessler but Calzaghe handled a much better version of Kessler without any problems. Calzaghe is on the same level as Andre Ward, he would handle Froch with ease.

Kessler gave Joe plenty of problems and hurt him several times. That fight was close up until the last 3 or 4 rounds when credit to him,Calzaghe started to dominate. If memory serves me right Kessler needed surgery on his hand after this fight and I think he wasn't 100% for the fight.
I would lean towards Joe if he were to fight Froch, but I think Froch has done more in boxing!

Kessler won 3-4 rounds but overall Calzaghe was in control of this fight and never in danger of losing it. Kessler-Froch was an all out war. Kessler that fought Calzaghe was in his prime, one that fought Froch was already on decline and inactive.
