    Hindsight's a wonderful thing, but at the time (late Nov 2015) Loeffler had every reason to hope that they could make a MW unifier with Canelo as mandated.

    Sucks tho - I woulda far rather seen Golovkin fight Froch rather than Canelo, but now we don't get either. Still, I ain't gonna blame GGG for aiming for the Canelo payday.

    EDIT: And if this is the 'offer' he was talking about I'm not that convinced it was legit.
