Froch says he was "misquoted"

    "If I was Amir of course I'd be regrouping. I turned professional at 25, it's a totally different ball game at that age.


    "At 25 he's still got some of his best years ahead of him physically. Mentally it's a tough defeat to get over, but he's done it before following a devastating knockout by (Breidis) Prescott.

    "He knows he's got a vulnerability and that his punch resistance isn't very good, so what he needs to do is adjust his style."

    "He should use his range, fast hands and fitness to move around like he used to do. I don't know why he seems to get involved in tear-ups."

    I without a doubt agree on the last bit. He had his chin over his front foot, throwin wildly and bringing his hands back to his waist...even in sparring. Apparently his sparring partner was a novice too, just turned pro but not yet had a pro bout.

    I know there are mixed opinions on froch on this forum, but I like him and I have to agree on what he's said here. I'll take some doing without a doubt for khan to come back from this. But he will need to adjust his style.

    Even when he was getting his head punched in, he was giving it the big 'un telling Garcia to hit him :huh that only works if you've got a decent chin.

    Khan was getting knocked on his arse by mediocre domestic opposition. He does need to stop giving it the big man routine. Back to the drawing board.

    I think than he was getting beat by mediocre opposition is a direct result of acting like that. Hands low, whenever Garcia came in he just covered up and took the shots. He underestimated him and boxed like he had a chin.

    Like froch says if he switches his style up, he's very fast and he has power. He needs to use what he has to his advantage.

    Sorry what 'great boxing skills' does Khan have apart from speed? He certainly doesnt have ring craft because if he did he wouldnt be getting knocked out and wobbled all the time. You dont see Hopkins (who has great boxing skills) getting hit with haymakers.

    As for myth that Froch has no boxing skills, he out boxed Pascal and Abrahams. Froch is lucky enough to have the chin and punch power to revert to a war if he cant out box the guy. To say Froch has no boxing skills is a joke!

    so chin wins iyo froch as two losses with bigger punchers khan as 3 with great boxing skills and lesser punchers, froch as skills just not great skills:yep

    There was nothin lucky about the punch, well timed and everything. I just didn't expect someone to drop getting hit behind the ear :lol

    Khan does have a real problem getting wobbled from scuffs to the head, maybe mayweather could help him out in the not getting hit department?

    Glad Carl came and cleared that up to be honest...
    Was surprised when the initial quote was released, shows how much people hate khan, or possibly like froch, when they defended the misquote.
