Of all the cards I've seen in recent years I don't recall a SINGLE even round except for where there have been deductions Great find, been looking forward to seeing these
Think you would have to agree with the mexican judge because he scored every round the same as one of the other judges
Another way of looking at it is this system Round 1, two judges give it to froch one to dirrel Froch wins it 10-9 Round 2, Dirrel 9-10 Round 3, Froch 10-9 Round 4, Dirrell 9-10 Round 5, Dirrell 9-10 Round 6, Froch 10-9 Round 7, Froch 10-9 Round 8, Froch 10-9 Round 9, Dirrell 9-10 Round 10, even 10-10 Round 11, Dirrell 9-10 Round 12, Dirrell 9-10 Dirrell wins 114 to 115
Im not big on announcing scores during a fight but woud of been fascinating in this one 38-38 after 4 rounds on all cards 78-74, 77-75, 77-75 after 8 Would Dirrell have been more aggressive late on when he had Froch hurt later on
Not sure how on earth you can give Dirrell round 7. the youtube video on the main forum shows round 7 is a joke with dirrell diving around the place, clinching and complainin.. [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fztqCbOUiTY[/ame]
i have just this minute managed to watch the fight, as i was away in spain at the time. i can well understand how the fight could have gone either way, but i watched it with an american commentary, antonio tarver was one of them, and the drivel and bull **** they were coming out with. very biased indeed, and to the untrained eye and ear, very easy to persuade someone that dirrell walked it. in the real world however, froch forced the issue, and landed well at times, as dirrell did. what did dirrell in the end was his holding, and running away. All this **** i have read on here recently about how froch was handed a boxing lesson. what bollocks. But just to add did anyone think that froch would actually out box dirrell? Being able to do that, does not make dirrell any better than froch. And it wasn't the bore a lot of people made it out to be
