personally I think he is calling Eddie Hearns bluff who is trying to keep it in house fighting DeGale.

He earned the right to get a big payday as his last fight. I really hope this fight happens.

Froch I'd imagine needs big fights to motivate himself at this stage of his career so to fight degale would a real tough ask but Chavez abroad would be a challenge although if I was froch I'd want Chavez to agree to drug testing

stb. he'll consider this as further "proof" of froch "ducking" ward.

He doesnt want to go out on a loss.

Hearn isnt going to throw him in with Ward, just so he can go out on an underwhelming loss

    Cant blame him.

Let him get his nice pay cheque and ride off into the sunset.

    Hes had a fine career.

    Says who?

Also Hearn has said they're not interested in fighting Ward so its a moot point

But this isnt about that. If Froch is to retire, hes had an exceptional career

He should have retired after Wembley as he won't top a night like that.
