    Froch's corner jumped onto the ring apron before the bout was declared over! This is an immediate disqualification just like Kirkland/Molina!

    Bute DQ5 Froch!!

    .....

    GOT YA ****ERS!! :lol::lol::lol::lol:

    Technically you're right.. The ref was still counting when froch corner came in.. He was giving a standing count because the ropes held up bute..

    Reminds me of when Roger Mayweather assaulted JUdah midway through a match, usually an automatic DQ for most boxers, Mayweather gets a free pass though, cost Judah the match.

    I know the thread starter is kidding, but this rule needs to be changed in boxing. If some ******* jumps in the ring while his fighter is fighting, there should be NO DQ! Throw the dumbass out who jumps in the ring, but don't punish the fighter. Like poor Carlos Molina. Even Mike Tyson and Junior Jones have "DQ" wins that are really TKO's.

    That ending was weird only because the ref waved it as it was over, then started to count while everyone else knew it was over. The ref only stopped counting when Bute's trainer tapped on his shoulder, seeming to say: what are you doing dude? Its over.

    Bute's team would be stupid to make that kind of appeal, even if they could technically win it, they would lose respect from everyone. They would lose all mine for sure.

  8. They are going to reverse it. This sport is too frustrating right now

    True, but it was Froch's guy jumping around inside the ring.

    Can't blame the ref, he was paying attention to the stricken fighter, Bute.

    Didn't this happen just recently, and the guy who's corner jumped in got DQ'D? ABout the same situation, I think.

    It would be a crime to reverse the call, though, but I'd bet anyone $10 million that if Don King had been promoting Bute, there would have been a
    protest.

    Yes, during Kirkland/Molina. But all the members of team Slick Black had no problem with the call because it saved Kirkland's AZZ. It's a ******ed rule indeed.

    One thing I'd like to say about Froch's people coming into the ring before the fight was over with a possible disqualification....Nope. The referee's hand signals were clearly in the manner of waiving the fight off, beyond any dispute. He waived it off, with Froch running the opposite direction and Eddie Hearn coming into the ring, then the ref started to give a standing count, with Bute's camp in the ring telling the ref to stop the fight. If the ref wanted to give a standing count, he should have got between the fighters as if to break them as he normally would without waiving his hands in the air. The ref caused Froch's people to enter the ring with his signal that he had stopped the fight.

    I saw him wave the fight off. The ref. waved it off and then decided to resume count.
