Neither man should really call the shots imo. Froch is the bigger draw but Ward is the champ and holds a win over Froch. They should both make compromises and come to an arrangement that is good for both of them. This is a fight that isn't even really needed anyway. They already fought and it was a clear win for Ward, we already know who is better.

Come on now, you have Froch, possibly top 5 in terms of earning, and then Ward, who has no fans, no personality and the least exciting style in the sport.

That's just the business side of it.

The boxing side, you have Froch, a tough and determined fighter but limited at elite level, and Ward, who is possibly the No.1 fighter P4P, not to mention being all wrong for Froch.

Why not just use common sense and have the fight in the UK, ticking all the business boxes, as well as evening out a fight where Ward would still be a heavy favourite.

"What does Ward bring at the moment? Unfortunately Carl dictates everything in this fight.

"Andre Ward is a brilliant fighter, pound-for-pound arguably the best in the world but because of his promotional disputes and inactivity, he really doesn't carry the draw in the US.''

    --Eddie Hearn OBE.

Carl Froch dictates EVERYTHING in this fight.

Froch say jump, Dre say how high. :deal

Froch is the cash cow of the division, Dre is the moany old cow of the division. :deal

whats wrong with it being in Nottingham, he's selling out a stadium there so business wise its probably the best choice of venue.

I definitely think it would be in Ward's best interest to make the fight in the UK. How big are the stadium(s) though in Nottingham?

I know Ward isn't a household name anywhere, but I'd imagine they can do some great gate numbers at a big venue in London and make this fight financially worthwhile for both guys.

Maybe sometime in late summer/early fall. I'd imagine Ward needs at least one tune up fight before he steps in there with a top tier SMW.
