Golovkin is a level above Froch in terms of skill imo. Froch has struggled with much less of an opponent through his career but his toughness saw him through. With Golovkin he would be in with a bigger, better puncher but mostly a fighter who is technically much better. It wouldn't be a walkover but Golovkin looks to be unstoppable.
Absolute bollocks. It's **** like this that shows you how easily people are manipulated by Hearn and the like. You think Froch as the B side fighter makes more against Chavez Jr than when he is the A side fighter headlining a massive arena in the UK? Put Chavez's biggest purse up against Froch's and Carl wins hands down.
Does anyone else not see the irony in a bloke with less than 100 posts in two years going on about ALTs? What's your normal login you cowardly ****?
Damn you Tony, I can't believe you'd stoop so low as to allow facts and statistics to support your argument. Aren't you aware that on this forum you're just supposed to spout unsubstantiated crap and everyone is meant to nod in agreement.
I prefer to comment when there's something worth saying, rather than constantly dribbling like yourself.
Yes, I'm sure there's been 97 pearls of wisdom from yourself. I'm so touched you're that obsessed with me you felt the need to make one of the few posts that you do in order to try and insult me. :good
Me insult you! There's nothing I could say to make you look any more ridiculous than your witless rambling does.
Golovkin undoubtedly has the power and skill advantage, as well as technically. Froch has a large amount of advantages himself however, that 5 inch reach advantage would be key as Froch has a decent jab and could dictate the early stages of fight with it. There are a lot of question marks about Golovkin such as chin, stamina (I believe both to be more than fine), composer in later rounds, being on the back foot or under pressure as well as will his power carry up? That being said, I think there are just as many questions going in his favour as I really don't think we've seen close to what Gennady can do. Exactly why it is the number 1 fight I want to see and IMO 50/50.
Froch - Chavez Jr is still a fantastic fight. Plus, Froch wants Vegas...that fight gets Vegas As for the 'who is ducking who' nonsense. GGG has said before he wants to clear out MW - and now he is WBC mandatory he can - before moving up, which is fine. He has said previously he'll fight anyone at SMW as well as JMW. Let's see what happens... I do think for Froch the Chavez Jr fight is the right option though
Sorry, but it's not. What has Chavez done that merits a world title shot at 168? As for the 'ducking' bit, I'm sorry but as much as I dislike Froch there is no way anyone could accuse him of ducking people. Just ridiculous.
1. Did I say he deserves a world title shot? 2. Did I accuse Froch of ducking? I said it'd be a fantastic fight i.e exceptionally entertaining. Which it would. No boxing lesson by any means, but that fight reeks excitement.
True plus Rubio looked like a light heavy in there last night on other thread Simone said he was 183 pounds Ggg v canelo catchweight between light middle and Middle weight make millions b a crakin fight cmon
you really expect Froch to get banged out of there in a few rounds like GGG's other opponents? that's absolute rubbish he's tougher, stronger, better and more experienced at the level than any of the other opponents. GGG needs to announce a move up to the weight before anything can be made and he has made no suggestion of him attempting to move up just yet, he has already said his targets are Cotto, Canelo and Chavez. Froch wins this on points for me in an absolute gem of a fight, hope it happens tough fight for both.
True? Lirva is a consistent troll and you agree with him on a comment taken totally out of context, in which Froch is speaking humourously. To say Froch would duck anyone is just daft, especially when Golovkin called out Cotto last night. Froch Golovkin is 50/50, mainly because Golovkin is moving up to fight a much bigger guy with a 5 inch reach advantage, regardless however, still 50/50.
