If I'm not mistaken the common theory to the lead up to this fight was "Groves is in Froch's head" "Froch Got Lucky" (agreed it was a bad stoppage in the 1st fight)

Grove talked a lot of ****. Said he was gonna knock Froch out. He came into the ring like he already won the fight. Gave multiple poses at different platforms like he was the champ, and the king of the world.

Spends 7 months engaging in non-stop trash talk. Then he gets iced, and everyone wants to say Froch should show some class?
Spare me. They both talked ****, one backed it up. Froch did exactly what he said he was going to do, and Groves got FIGURED OUT after the 4th round.

this wasn't a classy lead up to the fight. Don't get KTFO and then be classy. Be classy all the time if that's what you want to be known for. Don't give credit and respect once you get iced. Anyone can give credit after they've been beaten. I respect Froch for keeping it true all the way through. From the pre fight hype, to the knockout Punch.

His Mantra was "I'm mean, I'm better than you, and I'm gonna Knock you tf out" He stood with that and kept his word.

F**K SOME CLASS, FROCH WAS THE TEACHER WITH THE LESSON IN THE UNIVERSITY OF HARD KNOCKS, GROVES WAS THE STUDENT, AND GOT SCHOOLED.

    Hmm, fair enough.

Was definitely not a friendly build up. Groves got KTFO. Froch can say what he pleases.

Guarantee if Groves would have won, his ego would have been in full force. He gets iced and people want Froch to show class.

Froch got **** on by boxing fans for the first fight then got **** on again by groves in the pre fight hype. If you're going to talk **** back it up. I have no problems with froch s antics after the fight he had many crictics and haters he can do what he pleases.

Groves didn't get iced, he got up immediately after the ref had called it, and looked in good condition. Groves was winning the fight with a much wider score than HBO were leading on.

Groves got cheated yet again. No chance for a recovery.

I have to disagree there. I had it 67-66 Groves. And he was fading fast. I didn't have him winning a round after the 4th.

The fact that he had to be put on oxygen and didn't know where he was, just proves that it was a good stoppage.

No way, he was finished. He was layed out for like 5 seconds and completely dazed with his leg bent in back of him. Fight was over.

He layed on the ground for like too seconds, and beat the count within 5. No wonder Groves didn't want this referee.

Two good fights destroyed by two corrupt officials. Even with the knockdown Groves was still (by my lights) ahead on the scorecards.

BS stoppage. Robbed Groves of his future in boxing prominence.

You sound a bit bias. I, along with everyone else thought it was a good stoppage. If Groves was as okay as you're making it seem, he would have made an effort to get up. He got caught, bad. And the fight was over.

I really wanted George to win, but the fight had been finished a good 2 minutes and George stood up and started wobbling straight away, it was the correct decision and with hindsight is probably how the first bout would have ended if Foster hadn't of jumped in.
