He beat Abraham by a wide decision as most predicted, by boxing him on the outside, but in reality he beat Kessler too. Kessler put on the fight of his life against an unispired Froch, came away looking like a mutant, and still somehow won a decision despite his mostly ineffective aggression. I've been tellin this forum too that Froch DOES have skills. I don't know why people refused to believe that, but maybe after this fight despite the level and style of his opponent, people will start to believe that Froch is a legitimate and elite fighter. He may not have the athleticism that Dirrell has, but he still a very skilled fighter that makes up for this with his heart and determination, something a champion NEEDS.
I disagree with you in him still being undefeated, but I do agree it's time we start regarding Carl as an elite 168-fighter with some good skills.
Did you actually see the kessler fight?? both showed great heart and fought like it was the last fight they would ever do.. It was a close call but kessler defianlty won that on points.
Im a Froch fan but straight after the fight I gave it to Kessler. I dont think he was busy enough for the full fight.
I thought Dirrell beat him despite the prissy tactics. The Kessler fight was close though. Ward will be like Dirrel vs Abraham. Basically you have one guy that is a league above the rest and it will show.
That's great that Kessler fought the fight of his life, and Froch basically ruined his career, but I don't count ineffective aggression. The same way that Mosley bull**** didn't count when he allegedly had a "draw" with Mora. I think Froch didn't put up the best fight of his career, but he clearly landed the harder shots on a more consistant basis. Kessler just managed to sway the judges due to his effort.
He didn't win the Kessler fight. A very close loss to a decent fighter in his hometown isn't a huge dent to your record anyway.
Ward will be at a significant reach disadvantage. I don't it will be like this at all. I would still favor Ward though.
Na you cant run and hide like that and win a title, would be detrimental to boxing if it were so. It wasnt an amazing defensive display from Dirrill, it was him being a total *****. I said then if he had of shown more heart he definately had the skills to come out on top.
I agree with you 100% Froch ducks no one he beat Kessler in my book and is underrated badly I really respect and have grown to admire Froch he is one of my favorites!!!!!
Froch just beat up some Audley style bum. He got a gift against Dirrell and Kessler beat him at his own game he´s a worldclass fighter and a warrior but that **** is ridiculous
Kessler and Dirrell where close but the better man won both times. Dirrells is just a ***** who ran from Froch all night. Hardly was a robbery now. Kessler won a clear but close decision. Roger Tielman 1. Kessler 2. Kessler 3. Kessler 4. Kessler 5. Froch 6. Kessler 7. Kessler 8. Kessler 9. Kessler 10. Kessler 11. Froch 12. Froch Thats one rediiculous scorecard however.
