Froch is a much better pressure fighter than Andrade was so even though Bute might have an edge in speed, Froch is going to make Bute fight backwards all night. I think Froch might take it in a late round TKO. Bute gets scared every time he gets connected with a shot just like Oscar would.

Countdown for the most obnoxious, overrated, overwhelming self important, unjustifiably arrogant medocrity that is Carl Froch to soon have his 15 minutes of fame end as soon as he faces a credible fighter.

I don't think Froch is a better pressure fighter then Andrade. He has absolutely no idea how to cut a ring off. Which was made evident in the Dirrell fight.

As I watched the fight I wondered how it would be scored. Taylor always won rounds more on flash than substance against heavier hitters. Taylor and Pavlik both believed Taylor was losing the first fight. That isn't what the judges had it though. Just going by memory there were some rounds that I could see Froch winning because he had the more substantial shots.

Bute being ranked at #1 is slightly comical. The Andrade "wins" are severely overrated. Bika is aiight. Ward and Froch have more claim in my view. Bute is the guy that got KTFO by Andrade in the first fight. Same dude. Marlon B. Wrong GAVE him the win. The fanboys at The Ring panel are morons. Knocking out a SHOT TO **** Andrade is worthless.

Oh that is a bull**** stat. Andrade isnt that good, Bika isnt that good, Berrio is grabage and we all know it. Pascal and Dirrell along with Taylor are much better fighters. Bute fans are fast becoming the new version of *******s over stating every move he makes and making it sound as if he was really doing something.

Sad thing is Bute fan use those three fighters as a gauge to say that Bute is the best fighter at the weight.

Froch is right in a sense, Bute and his people think that he is going to keep fighting guys at the bottom of the top 15 and sit back and wait for the winner of the Super-six.:patsch

Carl Froch is nowhere near world class?

A world champion who had defended his title on two occasions is not world class?

This is not some "Paper champion" we are referring to, this is a guy who beat (The at the time undefeated) Jean Pascale, who is currently the WBC Light-heavyweight champ (A title Pascale has defended twice).

He then travelled to America and beat Jermain Taylor (The former undisputed Middleweight champ and a man who beat Hopkins twice!!) via ko!! And the fact that Jermain remained in the Super six following that defeat is an indication that he (Taylor) felt that he could still win it despite his loss.

Froch then handed Andre Dirrell his first loss. The same Andre Dirrell that dropped Arthur Abraham (and appeared to be heading for a comfortable points win) in his next fight!!

Yes, I accept that Jermain Taylor was winning his fight with Froch, but the fact is that Froch ko'd him!! There was no controversy there! And as for Taylor's "Stamina issues" yes Jermain did appear to "Gas" but it was Froch who forced this!! It was Froch who ensured that Jermain was tired going into the final round, wasn't it? Froch receives very little credit for a win that encapsulates all that is good with the sport of boxing and that is a disgrace!!

With regards his fight with Dirrell, I personally scored it 115-113 Dirrell, but I wasn't one of the judges!! And people can ***** all they like, the fact is that Froch got the decision couresty of the professional and experienced judges! And no matter which way you look at it, there is no way that Dirrell "Dominated" that fight!! And to say that Froch "Hardly touched him" (Dirrell) is an absurd and thoroughly biased claim!!

Froch is an arrogant **** and a door knob has more personality (I have met him) but to suggest that he is "Nowhere near world class" is beyond preposterous!! You are either a blind hater my friend or you do not know anything about boxing!!

A lot of "Experts" on here are quick to dismiss Froch's stlye/ability/etc, but with all due respect lads, if he was so **** he would have been beaten many times by now, surely?

He reminds me of Chris Eubank, in that the "Awkward effectiveness" of his unusual style, coupled with his conditioning and determination make him a (obviously) difficult man to beat! All boxers cannot have an aesthetically pleasing style (Like a positive Andre Dirrell) but that is what makes this sport so great!!

Carl Froch will of course lose (probably on more than one occasion) but, like it or not, he is undoubtedly world class!

Froch just plays up to the camera when talking about other fighters sometimes. He interviews in an eloquent, honest and polite manner just as much as he does when he's acting arrogant.

That's one way to look at it.

Another way to look at it would be that Froch is flat footed and swings at the pace of a clock very much like a primitive robot with ZERO fluidity.

Unorthodox for Froch would be a vast improvement in his technique. The man flat out fights like he's barely learning the sport as he goes. His form is plain atrocious.

Froch is more limited than Abraham...

Who does he think he is to slam a fighter after he looked sad in his last fight.

He is so stupid he thinks he won.

Im not sure why Andrade is on the shitend of being hated on. He's nice. He's humble as ****. He's never talked bad about anyone. He admitted that he felt he didn't win that first fight with Andrade and avenged that **** tenfold. Which is the reason hes not in the tourney. He had business to attend to first.

Now granted, I definitely think he's overrated, but definitely doesnt deserve the criticism he's receiving here. I think after all this is said and done, his resume will level out with his accolades and he'll be the real deal.
