Froch speaks: You can’t talk about Golovkin in the same breath as me

Why doesn't he call out fights at higher weights that actually have a chance of happening?

 

As someone who wouldn't call out someone I wasn't willing to fight, I think others should be the same. That's my opinion and the second sentence made me laugh. I'm not going to get into that with you on there's no way for me to prove to you otherwise which is a shame as a fair few posters on here could do with a good backhand.

 

How are you not getting this? You remind me of Kanye West in South Park when he just can't get the fish sticks joke.

Not being allowed to make the full middleweight doesn't stop him being a middleweight. It made him a drained middleweight.

If you're in any doubt about whether or not someone is a middleweight you can quickly work it out by asking these two simple questions:

Does the fighter weight more than 154 lbs? If yes do they weigh 160 lbs or less? If the answer yes to both questions they ARE a middleweight.

Now apply that to the case of Daniel Geale weighing in at 157. C'mon, you can do this...

 

He should but I don't see why saying you'd happily fight a big mouth who's been trash talking you makes any difference in that regard. If I were Golovkin I'd want to make it clear that this guy is all talk and don't want it because if he does then the fight will be made whilst looking to arrange fights with guys who are actually serious about fighting.

 

Is Max Kellerman wrong as well? I'd say his opinion over rules yours.
Any unbiased fan sees this for what it is. You're agenda driven because you want Canelo to fight Golovkin and don't want there to be any excuses like the fact he has never fought or beaten anybody at MW.
I want to see the fight too , but im not ignorant enough to ignore the situation for what it is. This is exactly why GGG will not go below 160. Not being allowed make the MW limit means its not MW. GGG has even said this himself.

This is a new low for you. Kellerman understands what the categories are and how they work. You don't. He can talk about 'true' middleweights all he wants. The weight range is the weight range. Nothing can change that. The questions I asked you about Geale would make that clear to anyone with half a brain.

This isn't about Canelo or Golovkin, this is about you not understanding how weight divisions work. If Canelo Golovkin happened at 155 it would still be a middleweight fight. For what seems like the millionth time, catchweights don't alter what division someone weighing in at that weight is operating in.

 

Apparently GGG has already stopped calling him out - the declaration that he was a talkative clown beneath consideration was delivered today. Now Froch needs to stick to his position of retired analyst and STFU or prove the world wrong and fight the fight he picked.

 

No I was pretty sure it was over when Froch stated the obvious that GGG needs a credible opponent and to remain at 160 which is what GGG will do. The only guy who needs to prove anything is GGG. Calling out retired fighters and WW's is pathetic.

 

Unless Froch un-retires and fights GGG, all his talk is just farts to the wind...

 

You would be wrong. Retired fighters sticking their reconstructed noses into others business continually is inviting said nose to be rearranged in the ring - or it can be rearranged out of the ring as GGG has done by firmly calling Froch a clown.

 

K2 was throwing out Carl's before Froch tweeted his comments. Do you pay attention to anything?

 

Bullsheet - Froch put his name in the mix then went and got plastic surgery, retired and hasn't STFU since.

 

It doesn't matter regardless. Froch is proven. GGG is not. At 35, he still doesn't have a credible opponent to his resume as Froch so eloquently pointed out and he will fight more bums and stick in the garbage 160 weight division instead of move up as Carl also implied. GGG's in a tough situation. And he's primadonna for absolutely no reason. He makes fights hard to make with his outlandish make believe A side act all the while will go fight a bum for less money than giving a guy a fair share like Jacobs. His act is getting old as he is.

 

What's this about 'new face'? I haven't really kept up with Froch since he retired...closest being probably the occasional Google of his wife in hopes of the paparazzi having caught a nip slip pic.
