http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/boxing/13158472.stm Hopefully now he will get someone who will get him on UK tv lol
This is really bad news. Carl's timing is atrocious. He should be 100% focused on Glen Johnson. This is not the time for the this type of distraction!
who else thinks that he was going through certain issues with Mick a good few fights back.. Im sure this has relieved some tension and added more inspiration to go in there and fight his azz off!
Yep .. Mick Hennessey has hardly been great for Froch, has he? I mean, what kind of promotor can't get one of our most successful UK world champs a TV deal for fights against the likes of Jermain Taylor? Good on him, hope someone can get him a couple of pay days and some well deserved exposure before he retires.
This, one of the most exciting british fighter in the last 25 years fighting top quality fighters in every fight since he won his title and still cannot get on sky. Hennessey ****ed up big time with Froch, wish Froch had left him years ago.
I don't know if this is true or not, but word is that Hennessy could have got Froch on UK Sky TV but he wanted to load the undercards with his own fighters as well and look after his own interests first before Carl's. There is a radio interview with Froch that I heard a few days ago where he tries his best not to bash Fat Mick but you can hear the resentment in his voice. I'll have to try and find the link for it!
Froch is probably the most underappreciated boxer in England for years. Apart from other friends who watch a lot of Boxing no one knows who the hell he is!
http://radio.thescore.com/episodes/the-fight-show-april-19-2011 Here's the link with that recent radio interview with Froch when he talks about his split with Mick... you will have to skip to near the end of the show though because I think Froch is on last.
